I would've hated it if Star Wreck was shown in segments like that. It wouldn't have been such a great film then.

Here’s some additional background about Episode 1:

Borg War takes place 17 years after the return of Voyager. In the alternative (i.e. non-canon) universe where Borg War takes place, the Federation (as well as the other key races) are well aware that the Borg, after regrouping, will eventually attempt to expand into the Alpha quadrant. The obvious approach to combating a race that adapts is to make every hit lethal, so Alpha quadrant starships have been optimized for massive power generation and mounted with 360 degree hard-points. In addition, much research has gone into new types of weaponry and hybrid weaponry. The Klingons, for example, have developed two new weapons: a proximity-fused armor-penetrating photon torpedo (which explodes from inside the penetrated ship) and a massive version of the ion-cannon, a stationary weapon intended to destroy dreadnaughts at a single hit. We see both these weapons in action in Episode 1. Any comments?

It's not as good as "New Voyages" (at least IMHO), but at lest Borg War is something to tide you over with STNG-like stuff until ST11 comes out.

Borg War Episode 2 is now live.

Summary: Jureth, eldest son of the House of Mi'qoch, suspecting that the Empire faces a Borg invasion, calls upon the Federation for help. Captain Picard sends Captain Tuvok to investigate using the Dallas, a Defiant-class ship highly modified for reconnaissance in Borg space. Meanwhile, General Mi'qoch (patriarch of the House) must use the power of the Empire's heaviest-armed Starbase to defeat a Borg menace unlike any the Alpha quadrant has seen before.

By the way, Borg War Episode 1 broke all the records for weekend views on Machinima.com -- the equivalent (in the world of Machinima animation) of getting top boxoffice receipts.

Machinima.com, the site that's hosting the release of Borg War, just issued this press release. It's a bit, well, formal, but I thought that the information it contains is interesting, because most machinima gets popular because people play the game. Since Borg War was done with two games that don't much of a player base, the only reason Borg War could have performed so well is because Star Trek fans are supporting it. Which makes me happy, because that's why I made it.

I got that on the Episode 7 preview yesterday. I think that's what happens when Machinina.com's servers are overloaded. Try again and let me know if there's still a problem.

Photobucket soetimes have to take their servers down for maintenance, and if that happens you get the error saying your pic has been moved.

Photobucket try to do their maintenance at night to minimise the problems, and they usually only have their servers down for a few minutes/hours. I've never seen their servers go down for more than half a day.
