I currently work in a chocolate shop (Thorntons) and its a cool job for the novelty. ie Selling ice cream, icing, chocolate fountain but its not as great as everyone expects it to be.
My first job was a BIG W and got paid £3.69! Didnt take long for me to quit!
Now im training to be an accountant and uni!

Fire fighter with the California Division of Forestry - That was as enough hot weather, hard dirty work and inhaled smoke to last a life time. I do not recommend it. After that there was ski patrol in Utah, sign printing, house painting and nursing home. This was all seasonal part time work. Later and after school came a real job. I hope to work in stellar cartography on the Enterprise some day. If not that I could always take over Riker's job on the pleasure planet.

PS: Please note the exchange rate at the time for US dollars and English pounds regarding above. Another thing to consider is the consumer prices. London is one of the more expensive towns. It would be a lot like the diffenece in having to live in New York City vs. Pigdump Georgia. (All do respect to those of you on planet Pigdump)
