If you are not from the USA, or even if you are, check this out for your next vacation

I had a very nice warp space time there on my last two trips to meeting in Veges. The Romulan ale is rather good but the Ferrengi have an funny smell.

Here's a hint for cheaper airfares to the US, look at booking in January or February... those times are supossed to be generally cheaper ;)

I personally prefer the Klingon ride to the Borg, but the first time I was on the borg ride... woahh... incredible. So was the Klingon one, but the borg was more "Woah-ish"

The actors/employees did a VERY good job with the Borg ride.

--

A funny story, I was on the klingon ride (before the borg was there), and it was the last showing before closing time, and no one was there. Absolutely no one, I was the only passenger.

Anyway, that ride was the most... unusual time I was on the ride (I went for a total of 4 times on the ride over the past few years). To put it simply, I was the only one, and the plot was a bit... different due to this. The actors changed their roles accordingly too - and added a bit of humor. Good time.

another thing I've learned to love are Conventions. Ok, this may seem 'nerdy' but conventions are actually awesome. Lots of smart people there, and lots of things to do. Its hard to get bored in a convention - as long as you have some friends with you :)

So dont go bashing convention goers.

Vengeance is a dish best served cold. 8)

Or in my case - in space no one can hear you fart.

that place is incredible. (the food is alright, could be better (DAMN EXPENSIVE))

Ive been wanting to go to the huge convention in August every year in Vegas, maybe next year (07), I'll go. I go to a one or two conventions every year, and its quite likely I may run into a few of you (2000+ members), but I guarantee you wont recognize me.

Good news for the non US. The US dollar is down so your money will go farther. The room rates can change by the day based on demand. The more conventions in town and the fewer rooms open the higher the rate goes. Shop for a slow time of year.

I see British Airways has some new cut rate fairs. There is something about signing a waver regarding radiation exposure left over by Russian secret service agents. :o
