Found this a few days ago but forgot to post it here, and after talking to MOE I tracked it down!
(MOE you need to post that thing you have about 'if there was a santa....he's dead now!)
Santa's Ho-Ho-Hi-Tech
SCIENTISTS have proved Santa’s epic journey to all the world’s children in one night IS possible.
Larry Silverberg, a US professor of mechanical and aerospace engineering, says he gets the job done using electromagnetic waves, computer science, nanotechnology, genetic engineering and the space-time continuum.
His journey is aided by a “relativity cloudâ€￾  based on Einstein’s discovery that time can be stretched and space squeezed.
Dr Silverberg, of North Carolina State University, said: “Rips in time allow Santa months to deliver presents while only minutes pass on Earth.â€￾ On-board SatNav prepares a detailed route, while the sleigh is pulled by reindeer genetically bred to fly and balance on rooftops.
There are no weight problems as the toys are built only when Santa reaches each child’s home, using a nano-toymaker to create them from soot. Dr Silverberg says: “Santa’s trip is possible and based on plausible science.â€￾

Hehe i've posted the link on the forums before, but Here It Is Again.
I LOVE the website I got it from. The scientific articles are the best. If you haven't read them before, I recommend Ban Dihydrogen Monoxide!, Thermodynamics Exam; Is Hell Exothermic or Endothermic?, Cats Toast and Antigravity, Chemical Analysis of Man (Chemical Analysis of Woman is even better) and New Scientific Units.
The website is Paul.Merton.Ox.Ac.Uk/Science

I heard something on the radio about some US agency actually tracking what they thought to be Santa Claus. Is this what you meant T_T_S_O?

You all know that your precious "Santa Claus" is nothing more than a weak derivative of the Dutch "Sinterklaas", or Saint Nicolas and that the guy has got absolutely nothing to do with Christmas. Fun thing is that, whilst the US got the symbollic children's friend from The Netherlands, we ourselves are copying the American Santa Claus. Thus we celebrate Sinterklaas and even have some sort of Santa Claus with Christmas. Both of which are actualy the same person.
Ow, and about the subject; every child knows Santa has all kinds of aids and "fake Santa's" to help him get the presents to everyone!

Everyone knows he's got magical powers.....
This article was just some scientist trying to prove santa could exist....

lol, something like that. The "zwarte Pieten" are negros that are the aids of Sinterklaas. Trapping children in sacks and abducting them to Spain hasn't been done for a while Seriously, they are debating these days whether it is morally acceptable to have the black people function as the aids of Sinterklaas since it might "affect the opinion of children about black people negatively". Sigh.

Alrighty.. Here in the U.S. For Fun.. the Government "Allows" NORAD to "Track Santa s flight"
Working with NOAA in Boulder Co, they track Santa's flight and what type of weather he will arrive in to deliver the presents.
HOWEVER!.. This is the Funny Part... In 1997 while Norad was tracking Santa, and broadcasting over nationwide television, they caught a blip on a radar screen and estimated it to be moving around mach 10. This "unknown came in from Canada thru Michigan then did a sharp turn toward Virginia. (SAC) Strategic Air Command actually launched 4 F-15 A's on an intercept course. Needless to say they were unable to catch the unknown.
The Next year, Norad only put out a time delayed tape of Santas flight after that. and that is now how they show it every year.
Thought you all would enjoy that tidbit.

We should give Santa a cloaking device so homeland security does not have him shot down.

homeland security wont shoot down Santa! Everyone loves Santa! And don't forget, people in the Government are just like you and me.
If you saw something going at Mach 10, its probably not Santa. (Santa can go much much faster)
