I tried watching Hidden Frontiers recently, and unfortunately I'm not really a fan. I know they have a very small budget compared to the actual TV series' but it almost hurts me to watch these things. The aliasing around the actors in "green screen" shots is terrible, and most of the special effects (inside at least) are sub-par. I'm pretty sure my standards are too high for me to evaluate something like that though and I know they have a large fanbase, which means that many people do enjoy them.
On a side note, I'm well on my way to having watched every episode of every Star Trek TV show!!! I've just finished Voyager, and I did DS9 prior to that. I'm now moving on to TNG, then probably ENT, TOS and finally the Animated series.........................
I have no life.....:p

i was considering doing a marathon over the summer.
every star trek episode
every day
nonstop.
literally one after another. I estimated it would take me over 10 days straight.

Actually it's more along the lines of 22 days. If only it were possible to watch for that long without sleep. Even with Bawls, that's a stretch . Here's the math (I'm bored here at work):
TV Series
TOS: 79 episodes x 50 minutes per episode = 3950 min
ANI: 22 episodes x 30 minutes per episode = 660 min
TNG: 178 episodes x 43 minutes per episode = 7654 min
DS9: 176 episodes x 42 minutes per episode = 7392 min
VOY: 172 episodes x 45 minutes per episode = 7740 min
ENT: 98 episodes x 44 minutes per episode = 4312 min
Total: 31708
Movies
I: 132 minutes
II :113 minutes
III: 105 minutes
IV: 119 minutes
V: 107 minutes
VI: 113 minutes
VII: 118 minutes
VIII: 111 minutes
IX: 103 minutes
X: 116 minutes
Total: 1137 minutes
Grand Total: 32845 minutes
Hours: 547.5 hours
Days: 23 days
That's a lot of Trek 8O!

Thanks umm...Q??? (Anyone else think Nemitor is abusing his new powers )
I've amended the post. The movies add an extra day to that marathon.

yes... accountable... hmm...
anyway, no one could watch TV for 24 days straight. Thus, you have to calculate sleep in. 8 hours of sleep a day, thus another.. 8 days, a total of 32 days.
A full month of my summer would be needed. But by then, I could actually say "I have watched every episode and movie of Star Trek, EVER MADE!"

Ya, but I think you could cut the sleep down a bit. With Bawls, Jolt, Caffinated gum/soap, pretty near anything is possible . Say, 62 hours of watching Trek, then 10 hours of sleep + toiletries.
I say "toiletries" because I wouldn't want to meet the person who went without a shower for a month just to watch Star Trek, though I suppose stranger things have happened...
Like the birth of MOE for instance
BTW Nem, if you really are a Q, I expect an eggplant...in my plunger...at 1354 GMT -4 SHARP!!!!!! Only Q could do something so drastic.
The fate of the universe depends on it! *Salutes*

1345?
thats not a time.
you mean 13:54?
and I would, but I have no idea where you live, sorry man. And I'm sure no one would want an eggplant in their plunger. I'll predict this:
You will get money soon.

It actually stands for "Thirteen hundred fifty-four hours" which is military time.
If you were a Q you would know where I lived, and could tell me the exact number of atoms that make up myself at any random time interval.
Also you are correct in your assumption that I, in fact, do NOT want an eggplant in my plunger (I have had 57 such plungers already and I do not need another)
^^^ The effects of a job at a call centre. Consider that random rubbish a warning ^^^

actually, being a Q does not make me Omnipotent. I am NEARLY omnipotent, but not fully.
I could search for you, but that would be a waste of my time.
I do konw what military time, a 24 hour clock - I was just clarifying.

Well, because arguments take too long on forums, I will not continue spamming up the thread.
PS: If you were Q, time would be irrelevant, there could be no waste

As I a member of the Tal-Shiar watch closely. noting appearances of this "Q" creature, and the mindless bantering of a white Raven.
Whistles as he reads the continuing thread of how the "Q" turns! LOL
