Hello Again,
From a very windy and wet UK.
Can any of you great members help me to know how paste pictures on this site?
I have asked before as part of my last message!
But have not received any replies how to paste pictures here?
I wish to show you all my new 12 inch tall limited edition 7 of 9 silver suit babe?
Please help.
Thanks for the legacy replies?
Astrostar.

You'll normally have to host the picture on a website and link to it using the [IMG] tags above when posting. I'am not sure you can just copy and paste from a folder

right.
copypaster from a folder? you mean add as an attachment? I don't think so though I'd like to have the ability here to do so.
btw. for uploading stuff, there's a gallery here. sign up and post your images there, then link em with the [IMG]-tag as cdrwolfe already said.

Upload your picture to http://imageshack.us/
Then when its done copy the 2nd link out of the 3 it gives you for choices, simply copy the whole link and paste in the forums with no tags etc and it will show as a thumbnail but ppl can click it and it will open a new page where it will be original size you had it.
Alternativly if you want original image size. Once you have uploaded the image and your at links to use, scroll down till you find the Direct Link url. Copy that go to a forum and use [img]image%20url%20here[/img]. Then it will show.

Photo Bucket is also a good choice though I haven't used it before.

I use photobucket. IT is fast , easy and holds a lot of pics of various sizes.

Perhaps we need a tutorial section on the site to help explain how the forums work?
I know for a fact that I have answered the quesion several times in the past, *somewhere* in the forums...
Anyways, I swear by photobucket because it is so easy to use. Some people might think the fact that you have to sign up to it is a downside, but you DON'T receive any spam from photobucket, you gain complete control over your pictures, even once you've finished with the image (Which you don't get by default with imageshack) and photobucket handles video as well. (Although I have never uploaded a video before)
Don't forget though, you can also upload images to the forums - which is something most people either don't realise or simply don't use. Once you've set up your album (There's a link on the left) then you're sorted.
I've got a pretty cool pic of a Spacedock in my album. I used to have others but then I found photobucket. I kept the Spacedock coz I though it was cool - and it's been there for months now...
The ability to add attachments to posts might be an idea (Can it be done, Nem?) but we've lasted this long with links to free file hosters so there might not be any point.

True, I think the gallery was more intended for BOTF2 game pics though but it never ended up being used much. Can't confirm that though

Erm, right click on the image, something like "copy link location", click that and put that between image brackets in a post?
