So first question does anyone else watch Battlestar?
If so what are you thinking of this part of the season, because I am not really sure where they are going to go with the general plot.

Another is that I can't remember if the whole lot was re-shown on UK television at a time I would remember watching/understanding it.

I tried watching the original series to kill time between Seasons 2 and 3 of the new series, but I couldn't even make it through one episode--it was so bad. I *love* the new series though. I was a little worried about where the show was going after the Season 2 finale, but it only continued to get better. I'm really looking forward to the next couple episodes, as Baltar is easily my favorite character.

actually season 1 is something I think I'd watch even today though I haven't done that in a dozen years or so but I remember it being cool then. Well the second season was so bad, it wasn't even aired at our television senders hehe

the best episode was the one with commander kain (i believe that was his name) and the pegasus. lol when they fired their nuke missiles at the cylon base ship, one could clearly see the footage was from a ground base somewhere in Arizona, even the sky was blue all of a sudden, in deep space :) yea, those were the days..

Yeah it was Kain, the joy of old style effects I was watching the orignal series of Star Trek and thought the special effects were 'interesting'

I'm not sure it will ever be on UK terrestrial TV because Sky one has UK rights because of they part fund it. For the first season it was shown first in the UK because Sky One put more money up than the Scifi channel did.

The actress is Tricia Helfer, and she recently posed for playboy.

I loved the original BSG when I was younger but probably couldn't put up with the cheese now.

The season where they found Earth, though... I don't think they could've made it any worse. Flying motorcycle, super boyscouts, wahoo!

I'm glad this Apollo/Starbuck thing seems to be resolved. At least, I hope it's resolved.. They risk becoming 'As The Battlestar Turns' (in the words of SyFyPortal) if they run with that drama too long.

Sure looks to be an interesting rest of the season with Baltar.. I don't think an episode is complete these days without SOMEONE torturing that poor guy.

Speaking of Tricia Helfer though, I think she could use maybe 20lbs extra.. but.. that's just how I like 'em. As far as Cylon's go, more of a Boomer fan. :)

Reading some interviews online, Starbuck isn't in the last few ep of the season so there should be a resolution.

Combine that with the admission someone major is going to get killed, and... who knows.

Well promotional material over here for this half of the season includes the phase "One will die. One will realize they are a Cylon. And One will find Earth." talking to my friends here, we think that any character that is based on a character from the first Battlestar is not a Cylon, and that there are some new character that it does make sence for aswell.
