And to think that the UN actually acknowledged it as a real language, as did the US and I think a couple other countries.! lol
Imagine, somewhere there is a whole group of Klingon fans who will build there own community, then they will demand that anyone living there speak Klingon ... LMAO! I can see border guards demanding a person to stop or they will open fire! all in Klingon.. that would scare me out of my skin! lol

It was ccepted as a language because it technically IS a language - Gene Roddenberry gave it gramma, rules, and so on. It's basically what Tolkein did with Elvish, just even more so. 8O

We need the same for Romulan, Cardassion, and a couple others.
Although I must submit that Klingon is about the most popular.

You know it wouldn't suprise me, if some kind of society exists that has this as their primary/only language..
It's something like the Quenya language. Quenya is a language, created by Tolkien (author of Lordoftherings).
For those intrested, here is a Quenya course:
http://www.uib.no/People/hnohf/qcourse.htm
Would be funny if you could talk klingon and a few people you know could do also. Talking that way at places where other people are.

speaking of... My brother is a member of a Klingon Group here in Denver, and they well actually MArch in some parade (St. Patricks day I think) and sing klingon songs.. then they all go to a few bars and only speak klingon.
it is weird to watch the reactions of "normals" as this group of 20 come Marching in LOL..
I would get to the bar early order a soda and get a table to watch everything. LMAO!

This reminds me of a news story I heard about a while back about a person in a mental institution that could only speak one language... And that language was, and possibly still is, Klingon. The institution had to bring in a professional Klingon translator or something like that just to talk with him.

Okay to clear this up. Yes name was changed by an Admin. I submitted a special request, explaining why I requested the change.
Hmm Nem you may have met my brother?? Cool. To my knowledge they have to learn the Klingon Language, and if I recall right are tested on it. Also they have to earn thier ranks.. But that is something else.
lol

yeah, before I moved from denver, I was quite interested with the Klingon groups in the area. I was actually going to join them, and at a convention, i had some nice conversations with them.
