Please do not take this the wrong way but I really do feel that the ones called File Not Found all look alike and are not up to the same standards of the rest of the work.
Hey, seriously that is very professional and stunning work. My advice at this time is keep up the great work. This will, however, make it very hard form me to submit work that is up to standards. Dang you!

Don't worry, I know about those images. I have contacted the_logical_man and am waiting for him to reply.
HOWEVER, I am 99% certain that he either won't contact me, or no longer has copies of the images! 8O
...Which means they are gone for good.
Anyways, I have deleted the offending poor quality images, (:P) but will keep my hopes up that he will reply soon.

wow. the images are getting pretty good zeleni
for the trabe shadow pad, you might want to try a little edge smoothin, either in the renderer or afterwards with gimp or any other graphic tool. In gimp, just take the smooth tool and redraw along the edges.
anyway superb work!

Nice images! Good work! I like it...
I've implemented about 100 special structures for minorraces for the Alpha3 of BotE, too. That are all structures from minors from Z till K. Perhaps I can implement some of these nice images till next release.

All the images that are being produced are for use by anyone making a game, SirPustekuchen. If you need copies, either right-click and save them, or I have uploaded them onto the sharepoint site. They are under shared documents in the BOTF2 home section, rather than a specific area in case you were looking.
The images on the sharepoint site are 120x80 pixels - so smaller than those being posted by Zeleni, but this is so that they are all a common size. Many of the images have been cropped and resized and whatnot to actually make them usable. Another reason is that 120x80 pixels is also one of several image sizes used in BOTF.
Most of the pictures are JPG's, although Zeleni's most recent pictures are PNG's. If you need them all converted into a different/the same file type though, just let me know. I can o that for you.
Minor Race Special Structures
Other/Unassigned Structure Images

Yes I know
Please make the size of the pictures a little bit bigger. Most of the user generated images have a size of 270x225, I think that's okay. But all of the minorrace structure images from the original Botf have only a resolution of 120x80. But in the Botf.res there you can find all these pictures with a resoultion of 270x225. So if we can gather all these images with a resolution of 270x225 it would be very nice.

@ Malvoisin, is there anything that can escape frome your eagle eyes?
It wasn t error in shrinking, that Trabe scum was running graphic card on old drivers! Ok, look above, i think new image will stisfie you...
@ Matress, I m very intrested in your resize tool. Why? Free tools don t have enough power or good algorithm to do quality resizing... Lanczanos and Mitchel algorithms are good but not enough... I recommend Photozoom pro 2 (inside this softwear are two winning award algorithms Spline-S for scaling down and Spline-XL for scaling up)

The images should be no smaller than 270x225 pixels. That is the larger size used in the original BotF, and 120x80 is far too small. Larger sizes are OK for Suremacy (since they are dynamically resized in the game), though anything higher than 320x240 would be unnecessary.

Its more a question or using the originals than physically resizing them up, Zeleni. You will always lose quality expanding something, no matter how good the program that you use. I was merely offering to convert the images into different file types if necessary. (.jpg -> .png etc)
I will post larger images when I get home tonight. I also tried renaming the images that you uploaded, Zeleni - the Breen one has a spelling mistake (Wepon should be Weapon) and I wanted to remove the underscores so that they had the same name format as the rest of the images - but doing so meant all your images in your posts broke, so I had to revert them back.
I have to say that the Trabe Shadow Operatives one is really freaky with that skull on it, though.
Anyways, if 270x225 pixels is what people want, then that's what they shall get.

All my images are already converted and uploaded in sharefolder in png and 270x225 so less work for you Matress. About rename, mistakes snd sorting do what you think is necessary!

I've got the textures of some of them (but they are even at 512x256 png still 234mb zipped...so upload on the botf2.com site will be only one time for you to download and then they'll be deleted).
most of them are images I took freely from sites offering them like http://s92198053.onlinehome.us/ or http://www.digitalheavens.co.uk/textures.html (there under image gallery).
so no, they aren't 3D objects, but with the textures you can make some of your own if you know how to overlay a sphere with a texture and bump/spec map.
it's some work I fear...
if you are interested in those free texture collection of mine (all taken from the sites mentioned above and http://www.celestiamotherlode.net ), then post it in here, I'll upload them next monday when having good uni connection again . But before, better check if creating 3D planet objects with texture (and atmosphere!) is not too much work to do..

So where did you steal these beautiful Hubble telescope photos from again?
LOL Simply amasing and stunning. such detail, it's like you could reach out and touch them and feel them to be real.
BRAVO Mal!

So I want to sign up to do the Capellan's Tribal Council and Lissepian Commercial Hub and Bilanaian Soliton Lab and Antican Hunting Paddock. That should be a 270x225 png 2d image?
Capellan Tribal Council
Lissepian Commerical Hub
Bilanaian Soliton Lab
Antican Hunting Paddock

nice ones!
for the paddock, how about having a square fence of a horse paddock with plain earth as ground instead of a road? don't know, would be my idea of a paddock but it certainly looks nice (route66-like ).

Good idea and that was my first concept for it.
Then I looked at this.
The Antican are a lupine race and this is where they hunt. I could not see wolf hunting in a 10 meter by 10 meter dirt pen. If they are still into the hunt for its exhilaration as much as food there needs to be some open ground to run on. If you really want them shooting fish in the proverbial barrel I can do that too. It just seam more honorable and romantic this way.

I would imagine that the best hunting ground would have lots of different types of terrain - forest, mountains, plains, lakes, and so on. It might be a bit much to include in such a small image, but it would be cool it it were possible.
I like the other images as well - but the Lissepian one looks like you've used an explosion filter on it, and this ruins it a bit, to be honest. And what are the orange things? Are they meant to be fireworks or weapons or something? It looks like there's a civil war going on!
It also looks like a line of pixels at the bottom of the image have gone wrong. Perhaps they should be cropped then the image resized?
Ooh I just thought as well - have you ever played Civilization 3? The Bilanaian image just makes me think of the top part of the tower in the startup video of that game. Cool.

Could we use the ISO standard for date formats in thread aubjects? That would be YYYY-MM-DD. It makes things easier since the US and the rest of the world tend to swap the month and day in their own formats.

yes. though it's just the other way round here DD.MM.YYYY (and with a dot ).
but you're right, it gets very confusing when ppl try and start mixing dots and slashes ..

DD.MM.YYYY is the format that I prefer to use as well. I find it confusing it we use YYYY.MM.DD or anything else!
I guess this is just one of those things where we Europeans have a different system to y'all over the pond.
I know, what about stardates?
