Skeeter, on those screenshots you posted about X3 over at Bethesda... do you happen to know the graphic settings those screenshots were taken with? For ships with such a giant polygon count, I would have figured the textures to be smoother on the ships.

But the backgrounds are spectacular.

And so everyone else doesn't think, "Wtf are you talking about?" is what I'm talking about.

Is the mod i posted screenies from, pics on first post and some nicer ones i think is on other pages.

Duno the settings mate. But it doesnt look like antiantilising was used etc. Plus it's just one guy i think workin on the mod using his own ships.

Might get a ship and install it and do high res and high quality with aa and af maxed. Should look awsome.

Damnit... now I'm thinking about getting this game. I almost got it when I was at Wally World last week. Didn't feel like dropping the 40 bucks for it yet.

To boot, I still have SupCom to finish plus a small library of PS2 games including FFX and XII, Star Ocean, GT4, and God of War II when I finally decide to buy that as well.

Plus there's WoW and EVE....

Games, games everywhere! And I don't even spend a lot of time playing them at all.

If it is discovered that the graphic settings were simply extremely low when the screens were taken, I'd definitely be interested in checking out what the game can do.
