Question for the devs: What ships and stations are needed on SharePoint first?

The ship and station list is very long. Some of the ships and station are listed as done or under constructions in the ship list thread.

Fewer of these have been uploaded to SharePoint.

Fewer still of these have been textured and only Transhman's Shipyard, Galaxy, Galaxy X, and Norway and my Colony Ship II are ready with a texture to be loaded into a game.

My Federation Transport I will be done in a few days. I would guess we would need a functional outpost at a minimum. Is there any other ships are stations I can select to work on that you would need to reach a new phase of game development?

(or am I the uber dork?)

Any ship/station on the sharepoint is good, since I wont need them for another... few months at least.

for now, I'm back to coding the massive E-Commerce system I've been working on. I dont plan to sleep tonight. Or tomorrow.

OK. I will just look at the list and pick what I think might be needed first. It takes a lot of time from 3D build to finished ship so if you do see something missing from the SharePoint game ready ships let us know. For the most part only the ones in the Image Library are game ready. The rest under 3D models are just 3Ds without a finished texture.

Great news - You really have done a great deal of quality work.

I hope I got it right - so I will repeat it to see if it is correct.

I put a .3ds file with a 2048 x 2048 .bmp texture file in a folder named for the ship. This folder I compressed to .rar and uploaded to the 3D model subfolder of SharePoint (Documents / Shared Documents / 3D Models ....)

If the .bmp turns out to be too big for the games it can always be dumb down to say 512 x 512.

Also there is the 270 x 225 .png beauty shot on a transparent background to put in the Pictures / Image Library subfolders of SharePoint. That is so we can see the ships as we select them to build in the games, but you already know that.
