Im against hunting full stop. Think it's inhuman and the only time its necessary is for self defense.
However i do find it hypocritical for me to say this, when i'm not a vegetarian! lol Love meat too much to give it up!

A butcher near where I live sells boar meat though. 
Some boar escaped from a speciality farm near where I live a few years ago. It's happened in a few places in the UK actually - and now they're breeding like rabbits! There is supposedly about 1000 of the animals now - which is pretty good, considering they were hunted to extinction here over 400 years ago! 8O
Some of the boar are now being captured and killed for food - but there is an obvious premium price tag for the meat, and they can't be killed for sport. There is a debate going on about possibly culling them for safety reasons, however.
It's kinda funny really, coz now it's like they are trying to get revenge. A woman who was out riding on her horse a year or two ago was attacked my a group of them for no apparent reason!
