Just wanted to say so.
It was *supposed* to be my Christmas present from my parents - last years Christmas present. I left the ordering a bit late and I literally only got it today.
But I just wanted to say, the wait was worth it.

Congrats!
I don't have one, although I do have lots of old gamecube games, and my gamecube broke. I also want to play chrono trigger again... and not on the PC.
Supposed to be a nice system, plus you can hack the remote

Yeah, i've got a Gamecube as well - and lots of games. Ask Stumpy about them. It really is a lot of games. Lots.
Ooh, and I have a SNES...and a Gameboy Advance...and A DS. I also had a Gameboy classic but that fell apart - literally.
I use the Gameboy player on my SNES or on my Gamecube to play my old Gameboy games now. Of course I can always download them as well now.
I'm a bit of a Nintendophile, aren't I?

Wii is a fun thing that is very hard to come by... I read that Nintendo has increased production levels to 1.5 million a month.

I've bought Excite Truck, Zelda, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, and Wii Play so far. I was after an extra Nunchuck yesterday but Game, HMV, AND Gamestation all sold out shortly before I got there. In the case of game the guy in front of me bought the last one.
I've bought a power dock to charge my Wiimotes and I've bought a Wifi thingy so hopefully I can connect to the internet when I get it. At leats I hope i will, or i'll kill Stumpy coz he's the one that recommended it to me!
I love the Wii though. I'm half way to completeing Excite Truck already!
...Although I kinda practiced a LOT on Stumpy's Wii before I got my own. Fun game, and i'd definitely recommend it if you haven't got it already.

Now for the bad news - I just bought a WiFiMAX Thingy so i could connect my Wii to the internet, (As recommended to me by Stumpy) but I can't get it to work!
Stupid thing. Anyways does anyone know how to set one up?
All i'm getting is "No signal" and "limited or no connectivity".

well another program is running that is configuring the wireless connection, this is going to cause problems period.
I'd suggest using Windows only or use the installed app(tends to be harder than using windows)
I can give more information if I know what you are trying to do....
Adhoc to the Wii and sharing internet?

All I want to do is to be able to connect to the internet. I don't understand why something so simple is so difficult. All I have to do with my modem is plug it when the installation CD tells me to!
I have had some mini successes, however; the only problem that I am now having is the bloody WEP code. Does anyone know how to find out what this code is?

Ok, I took the plunge - I bought a wireless router - and it worked first time! I can connect now on both my Wii and my DS - and i've sent the Dongle back whence it came from.
