I killed Star Trek: Allegiance!

Matress, what does this mean?

I was the only guy playing Allegiance - Skeeter hadn't been online for more than six days so the game automatically cancelled his account.

Then some new guy came along - Ritter - who neither me nor Nem recongised. So I decided I would wage an all-out war against this random stranger.

...But the stranger was set as a Fed (I had recently defected from the Romulans AND become a Borg ally for testing purposes) so the only way that i could attack Ritter was if I was a Romulan - so Nem went about changing the settings so i could be a Romulan again.

...Unfortunately, instead of editing the information and keeping a backup of the original, Nem accidentally overwrote a large section of the games' programming code.

Allegiance died.



The game was dying anyway - the host that held all of the images for the game died itself a few days ago and Nem has got some major updates in the works - but those won't be available for even testing purposes for several months minimum.

Oh, and we later found out that Ritter was actually Skeeter with a new account. I almost killed Skeeter...why is fate always against me? I need revenge!

I'm surprised how long it took people to notice my new sig. I'm constantly updating it but people just don't seem to notice. When I first signed up to the forums, I always updated it every Monday with a new joke...

This is not the ship forum but let me ask a more general question about fleet development. It appears to me that all Federation ships and stations are built or promised except the science station. We have two version of the Outpost. If it is OK with you I could make the Trashman / Kenneth of Borg Outpost version into the science station and Skeeter's version will be the Outpost. OK?

Doing that will mean we have completed or gotten commitment for all Federation ships and station.

I have some cleanup to do on the Cruiser V and Orbital Batter and will then move down the list to Klingon.

Work on ships is slow now as I am preparing a demonstration of our medical laboratory computer system for a visiting laboratory and information system team from another hospital. Also people are on summer vacation so I am covering more than one position. The pace of work will pick back up again in a few months.

As long as the original modellers are fien ith it then there isn't a problem on my end. Just let me know what you're doing and i'll update as necessary.

...And stop spelling my name...correctly...

Your evil plant worked mattress... For some strange reason I want to play Allegiance... Of course whether I actually give in and download it or not is completely up in the air... I'm fickle like that... Of course if someone were to provide a breif description of what the game is like I might be more interested...
