That is great. The earlier form of the Dominion Bug was something like 15,000 poly. I am glad you could find that many ships that are ready to go. The fleet grows stronger.

If you mean the images IN THIS THREAD are throwing up the problem, then that is certainly odd and should not be happening. And if you're trying to get the files themselves, you should be able to freely access and download them.

You only need a sharepoint account if you want to add, edit, or delete files on sharepoint. If you want an account, just ask Mike.

I see it from work and not home. When you bring up the page before this one (with the ShariPoint photos on it) the ShariPoint login window comes up multiple times. It has may id password on it at work but it does not even come up on my PC at home where the id and pw are also saved.

that romulan ship with the textures all over the place, those textures can`t be used, that ship and it`s textures are by divelman i believe and he does not allow the altering or use of his stuff

I see, No problem. If they show up with a working model they have first dibs. I could then just rework what I have to another race. (paint it red and call it Klingon)

The Federation Outpost I is based on the work Trashman did and uploaded to Sharepoint earlier. I just took it to completion. (joint project)

I have updated the shiplist, and removed Fireball as the builder of the Excelsior. He has had long enough to come up with the goods!

That is an outstanding design for orbital batteries. Thanks for showing it to me. I have been toying with Orbital Batteries off and on and come up on some problems due to the poly count limit of 2,000. That design is very nice and I may be able to do something low poly with it. I have a list of models I want to re-do better and now this is on the top of my list.

(My Federation model is exactly 2,000 poly. The rounder look of the sphere eats up most of that. I could go boxy and get away with something generally like the design you show)


For now though I will move forward to the Cruiser V under Federation.

It would be cool if you made a Cardassian Orbital Battery along the lines of the Orbital Weapon. Obviously i'm not forcing you to do it though. It's your choice.

I will look back at the others to see if I can make a more interesting shape but still keep it low poly. Thanks for the prodding. I still need to increase the detail in the texture but you get the idea.

The Cruiser V will be name the HMS Mattress of Evil. Thanks Mattress for your inspiration on Orbital Batteries. I have changed plans and am working back over the OBs. The new and sexy Dominion OB will be posted soon. The HMS Mattress of Evil will enter the shipyard as soon as the new OBs are online.

Make it the USS MOE and it'll be more in keeping with FEDERATION classification - I don't think the Federation uses underscores when naming their ships...

I need to consult the experts here before I go further. The Fed Cruiser V is of the same class as seen in Voyager? This would be sister ship to Voyager?

Yes Kenneth, Voyager was an Intrepid class starship - in fact, Voyager was only the third ship of the class to be built, and was the first vessel of the class to be fitted with type-1 Bioneural circuitry.

Just build the model to look exactly like Voyager, but when texturing it, instead of putting "Voyager", put the "USS Intrepid"...or the "USS MOE".
