I didn't see that this has been posted elsewhere, so here are the repro steps:

- Start a new game.
- Construct a colony ship. (So that you now have 2.)
- Find a planet that will take more than 1 turn to terraform.
- Begin terraforming with one of the colony ships.
- End turn.
- Select the ship that is doing the terraforming.
- Choose to create a fleet and add the other colony ship.
- End turn.
- See the crash.

I'm very impressed with the game so far. I realize there is a lot of work to do, but the parts that are in place seem very well done. Great job.

This issue has been resolved. I reported it a few days ago.
There is an updated .exe file which I believe is only currently available from the german BotE site's download section.
I've downloaded it and tested it and it deffinately is now fixed.

I think that you can download the updated version from this site though. Downloads -> Birth of the Empires -> latest BotE.exe V0.51e ...

hm, the exe on our german site is the same 0.51e exe than here. But you're right, it won't be a bad idea anyway to register at our forums there (first cause of the increase in numbers and second because the 4th Alpha Edition gets released there too some days prior to the release here due to translation and testing stuff. We wanna present here a good and bug-free version so we test it some days at our german board first. JFI).
