Err so what happend to all of the ships, i recall we had many, certainly the majority of the federation, a good chunk of domninion plus others?
It seems the sharepoint doesn't have a lot of the old style fed ships, and alot of the domniion sips someone made about a year os so ago?
Not to mention what happend to a large chunk o the cardie ships? that jig and others made, pls oh god pls don't tell me they are lost to the void forever, or simply not uploded onto sharepoint yet.....
pls.....
regards Wolfe

People like Jig, Skeeter and others have not yet uploaded ships to SharePoint, Image Library and Shared Documents. Jig says he is completing the Cards and the shiplist shows most of them done.
http://www.botfii.armadafleetcommand.co ... 57&start=0
I have been on SharePoint from its inception and the uploads have only gotten larger in number. I have not noted the loss of any models there. The Federation also has a lot of models reserved on the shiplist but not on SharePoint. A lot of the offers to build models comes from people we do not see around any more. Others, like Jig, are busy but will get to it.
When the time comes, as in we are out of models to build that are not reserved in the shiplist, we can start taking over the work for the real MIAs. For now I am only building and uploading models to SharePoint that are not "taken" on the shiplist.

I am happy with the progress and the growth on SharePoint is steady.

As the other guys have said, not all of the models are on sharepoint yet, but they will be once they are ready and the creators have time to upload them.
If anyone disappears before they upload their models, I can always update the shiplist so someone else can make a model to take its place. Don't worry, things are being done. If anything there has been a significant increase in the model output in the last few weeks.

The sharepoint site is: http://www.botf2.com/default.aspx
Anyone can look at the pictures and download the files, but only registered users can upload new files, edit existing files, or delete existing files. If you need an account, just send a PM to Mike with your email address.
Once you've got an account, sign in and click on the shared documents link on the left, then put your files wherever they need to go. For example, the 3D models need to go into: The Birth of the Federation 2 Consortium -> Shared Documents -> 3D Models folder.
Each game has its own individual area on sharepoint, but any files that are being shared, such as the 3D models, go in the shared folder. Sharepoint integrates with Office 2007 - so if you have Office 2007 installed, you get more options on the site. As an example, you can only perform multiple uploads if you have Office 2007. I don't have Office 2007 so it takes me a long time to upload stuff.

I do not have office 2007 but can do multi file uploads. Mike noted that if you change to the Explorer view from Document view (a setting in SharePoint) you can drag files from a folder on your PC to your window for the folder on SharePoint. Just select all the files to move and drag them to SharePoint.
Good to see you Skeeter

Office 2003 should integrate fine with SharePoint as well. Unfortunately, the Explorer view doesn't work under Windows Vista. Most likely that's for security reasons.

Great to see you. What ever you can do is wonderful. Even just saying you are not dead helps.

Textures for the shipyards would be nice, too. Good luck on your exam .

Try asking RazorsEdge - if he's still around - he offered to do the texturing for the models.
