I have a built a 3d model very similar in appearance to this ship. (early enterpirse / basemaster ? ) Is there anything left in our list that it could be used for? If not the Federation than I will rework it some and give it to a minor race.

We could use more Enterprise era ships... keep it for the Feds for now, and I'll get back to you.

Well that image looks like the Reliant style of the Miranda class. (As opposed to the Freighter variant without the upper Torpedo bay that was in BOTF)
HOWEVER, the cut out section at the front of the ship means that it is either a different ship altogether, or a variant I am not familiar with. It's hard to see in such a small image, but the Nacelles look like they are from a later time period as well. (IE. TNG rather than TOS/Enterprise-B era)
The Akira is a ship that I would personally love to see more of though. It is a real fighter! They supposedly have FIFTEEN Torpedo launchers, but they have never been seen firing such a large number of Torpedoes in either the films or the shows. (You see an Akira firing twice during First Contact - it first fired three Torpedoes at the Borg Cube, then a few seconds later it - or another Akira class ship - fired four more Torpedoes at the Cube)
Hehe my memory isn't as good as you might be thinking - Dafedz hosts a 36-second clip of the battle on his Trekmania site Here!
The NX or "Enterprise" class was definitely modelled on the Akira though - so some people actually call it the "Akiraprise". If you don't see the similarity, turn the NX upside-down then compare it with an Akira. They're <almost> identical.
Whilst Enterprise was a good show in its own right, the writers and designers were very lazy, which is why things like this have happened.
It's nice to see people using Battleclinic for ideas though. There are some great models on that site, especially the Romulan designs. Some of those are very imaginative.

They should make a show about an Akira. It's my favorite ship.

We have permission to use this model called the USS Poseidon. Is this what you want?

yep. it's btw. a kitbash of Prometheus' front and Sovereign's back so in the end one could use this model to develop the other two if one hasn't already..

OK. We have the Poseidon in as an Extra and the Prometheus is listed as the Tactical Cruiser, Federation.

I could not find that version of the Poseidon. Hopefully we can make one before show-time.
