I voted No. why?

Unfortunately, I tried the very same thing over a year ago, without success.

Also, I currently sim for an excellent group (which is not obsidian fleet), and have been there for over two years. Ironically enough, I was recruited indirectly (forum sig) by a prominent member here. I also briefly ran my own ship (not in the aforementioned group I'm in currently).

Do you currently have a Website? Do you do training? Do you have a few experienced people for your senior staff?

All this information is far more important than detailed deck layouts and a list of every position.

It definitely sounds interesting, and I wish you the best of luck.

(also, this possibly qualifies as advertising - please view Forum Rules)

No problem, I may actually join in a few months. I don't think its too bad, it wasn't like "Go here and buy this stuff!" - you'd have to ask skeeter or jig though. People put up information about things all the time - like games, for example. I think the rule only really applies to major advertising, but thats up to the moderator to decide (jig or skeeter)

I would recommend just putting a link to your site in your signature and participate in discussions around the forums - I'm sure you'll recruit someone that way.

Come on the Chat if you'd like - I would love to talk about how you'd use Messenger. It sounds really interesting.

Im not entierly sure whats going on here but it sounds like your trying to recruit people to play a play-by-mail type of game, it might be best you hold off on advertising this on here, and even then just inform people about it in a short post and post a weblink so if they are interested they can view your site. As this isnt the best place to start recruiting members for a game that for all i know is just in your head at the moment.

Pm me when you have a website and i will reopen this topic or let you make a new topic with a short post and link, in the meantime im going to close this topic.
