hm, I just had an idea..: how about using the supremacy fed UI design elements from RazorsEdge and replace the vereor pics with it? It should look way better plus the site would now feature a unique design and actually a design from one of the games! what d'you think?

Ooh I LOVE that idea! I don't particularly like the fact that we have the same forum scheme as a Big Brother website, as someone linked to a few months ago.

These forums woul certainly benefit from a sprucing up, and Silvercliff's images are definitely a good place to start. As they were posted in the staffroom, most people on the forums haven't even seen those images anyway. It would be a pleasant surprise...

yep. and I have saved some previews of the Cardassian UI for supremacy by Razorsedge. It's on sharepoint at the bote subsection under "Skins", so we could actually create two selectable skins. anyone up to it? shouldn't be that difficult to copy and snip the stuff out of the png's and resize them appropriately. That cardassian look is even better IMHO .

Thats nice, considering i also just finished up adding in the majority of the cardassian buildings yesterday with the supremacy editor

I hope that with the new bote release we actually can get Razor to spend some time on the design again. Those frames are from last year. I think the little more "life" in here lately will surely convince him to do so

Guys, I don't know if you've noticed but Update 3 for Java has just been released, so download it if you havenn't already done so. The chat forum actually seems to load up slightly faster since I installed it...

I wasn't able to find any links that help me though. I want the window to light up whenever someone posts a message - just like it does in MSN. Is this possible, and if so what do I click/type to make it happen?

Just got so much to do at the moment. I lost a huge chunk of my translated guide this morning coz the plug came out of my computer.

I've been busy uploading screenies for the Supremacy wiki on Startrek-games, have been doing coursework, and just to make matters worse I have to help sort out my sisters' birthday party, too.

Sometimes I wish I was an only child...
