Met myriads or whoever there called (space hippies lol) and i did a friendship with them. Got trade route about 5 turns ago and suddenly duno why it was lost according to turn events report.

i haven't had a look yet but judging from the 5 turns, it seems quite normal. was the trade route looking kinda "pink-colored" on the map the turn before? that's a sign when it was due for cancellation which can be triggered by the user when he selects the trade route to that planet a second time.

Hmm i think ur right, i think it did change colour, as i wasnt sure if the trade route was for them or me when they said they wanted to be friends, and then the trade lane appeared so i thought id double check so went to system view of sol clicked apply for trade route and did one on their system. Next turn or two later (forget how many it was) it changed to a pink line i "think" and then thats when it cancelled apparently.

yes that's normal. just don't lay trade routes over an existing one (only if you really wanna cancel in 5 turns because a better trading partner has signed treaty or is about to), so no bug here .

Sorry to open this but i do think a bug has appared tho now, as i just spammed the turn button and its blue then pink then blue then pink every 4-5 turns, and i havent done a new trade lane with them as i said i just left it and spammed the turn button about 15 times.

Just loaded the save and studyed the trade route screen when i lose the route, it comes back and says 19 turns till end then u press turn then its reduced to 4 turns, and when its gone it comes back saying 19 then next turn 4 etc, and goes on for awhile.

yes that is a bug! thx again skeeter, would have totally missed it.
