Kenneth - don't forget, the Xindi are made up from multiple races - and each have their own ship designs. The ships above are the Xindi Aquatics Command ship. It might help you if you could also find models of the other Xindi races. Just a thought.

I sure can look for more Xindi but the shiplist only calls for one Xindi at this point. I will leave them both in the Xindi SharePoint folder for now.
I see the Vulcan's get five ships per the ship list. Other space fairing races get one or two. (How do I make sure I find and assimilate the Vulcans first while playing the game?)
In other words how do we balance out the advantage of finding and acquiring the Vulcan's against other races in the galaxy? (do I recall this question at some time in the past? - sorry)

Acquiring them should probably be harder then other races, though one of those ships should be a colony ship?, and in the end eventually you'll have better ships then theirs.
So you may have a power play early on in game, hopefully it wouldn't unbalance it for to long, not to mention other races may get them aswell.

They are in the Tellarite folder for now.

The number of designs that arace has DOESN'T mean they will have that number throughout the game - it simply means they get more upgrades/refits/replacements. It does NOT mean the Vulcans will be able to build five ships by the end of the game, as their older designs will be useless even to the Vulcans. (Although some may still be in service, it depends how the AI works)
The older ships will be obsoleted just like with the Empires. The more designs a race has, the more often they update their designs, so the more powerful they are.
Giving the races colony ships is definitely something that we need to consider - if need be then a 'weak' race will get an extra model, or if people think a race is too powerful then the colony ship can be one of the designs already set.
...
Kenneth, I meant to say that the other Xindi models could simply be reused for races that don't yet have a model.

I really do know this is a J Class freighter. We need a freighter for the Lissepians so they get it for now. (The shiplist does not call for a Federation freighter as such. If I recall correctly it was a private ship and not Starfleet. So we exchanged the design with the Lissepians?)
We can sort it out later.

Tak Tak Destroyer II (not early, like late at night)

If you have the two Sheliak we need on drive we can go with that. I got this one from a fleet pack called Sheliak on Battleclinic. We can reuse the Battleclinic versions, said to be from some other ST game, for another race if at all. These Sheliak are not that well built.
If you do not have the two Sheliak the lists calls for we could always bash one into the next generation of Sheliak.

hmm... something miss... few minor ships are buried in old botf... yiridian scout, codak starship, vanilla botf bajoran ship....
@jiggalypuff can you do that for us, convert hob to 3ds, is too much? ( my trial of ulimate unwrap is over)
-yiridian scout
-codak ship
-vanilla bajoran fighter

I am still running Ultimate Unwrap. If there is a model you want uploaded that it can convert just point me to it. Was that a trial version of a plug in or the Ultimate Unwrap itself?
It sounds like you have the Minors covered for now. I will head back over to the Majors -- see what trouble I can get into there.

You can do it, it would be great but you need hob plug-in for ultimate

I will be on the road in the coming week but will look at this when I get back if not before. So the hob plug-in is needed. Do you have a link for it and the location of hob models we can use?
I see you have one Bajoran ship on SharePoint but we need one more. The Codak are not on the ship list but we sure can get the model to reuse. We need two Yridian ships.

You can download hob plugin from Ultimate Unwrap official page.
Hob files are orginal botf files so you need to have old botf game, if don t,
iso image can be found on armada fleet command (botf1 forum)

we might get 2 new models for excelsior and defiant for free in the near future. though this mr. ljungberg doesn't want to get involved personally in any kind of game development. he just serves them for anyone (including us) .

Sounds good. If they are not in the 3DS file type let me know. I will see what I can do.

Eventually they'll have to go in the .X format used by Direct3D, and there are plenty of converters out there for various model types. Most of the models out there probably get used in games that run in Direct3D anyway, so we know they can be converted.

Uh....I thought were had to put all the models in .3DS. That is nearly 100 per cent of our SharePoint models having been converted to it if not built in 3DS., (including those originally in .x) So do I need to convert very thing to .x? If that is true I need to change what we have posted about uploads to SharePoint. viewtopic.php?f=11&t=1760

I had originally suggested 3DS format because it's a very widely accepted standard, and while I had no idea what format we would eventually be using, 3DS remains one of the easiest formats to convert from. We may even be able to import 3DS models directly into the game, so don't worry about changing them for now.
