There's only like 40 days till christmas left now! I've already had to buy some xmas presents to spread the cost! This years gone so fast, it feels summer was only a few weeks ago!

Not in Texas it doesn't. The high today was 86 degrees F.

Wow...we only get 30°C temperatures on the hottest of summer days over here, Fox. We've currently got fog, frost, condensation on the windows, grey skies, and highs of 8°C (46.4°F for you backward Americans ) - if we're lucky.

Dang... Only high of 86? That's nothing. In hot years we routinely get high 90's to 100+. Texas winters can be pretty screwy... The same goes for the rest of Texas weather. Anyhow, often times (usually when you're at a Boy Scout winter camp with only tents to sleep in and no heaters) winter sets in in the course of just a few hours or even less with the first real big cold front that can cause a temperature drop from 70+ to below 30 (that's 2 below freezing for you backwards Europeans ) and stays fairly cold until the season ends.
