they played a lot military marches (obviously if you are a militaristic government).. I dunno. One of my room mates digs up random stuff on his computer and occasionally he comes across stuff like old Soviet and Nazi march music. Usually he finds this stuff doing random history searches on WikiPedia.

Sounds interesting - Can we get are hands on anything by a dead composer performed by a disbanded orchestra working for a long gone government?

This is the Dominion at war http://www.botf2.com/Shared%20Documents ... batMix.mp3Wolf, you sound good. When I got around to mixing I did notice there is some white noise in the background of your recordings. It only took a little noise reduction to pull it out. It is in your gear but easy to fixed. I fixed it and reloaded all your recordings. If you get around to the new navigational recordings for the Dominion let me know so I can clean them up as well.

wow Great,...
Really sorry about the background hiss, my mic isn't the greatest and i didn't know how to clear it up at the time. Though thanks for cleaning them up it's greatly appreciated.
Regards Wolfe

Yes, I do hear it on Delta. Some of our actors talk 2 fast. I think his pace is a little on the 2 slow side myself. I may have over influenced him when I suggested he not rush the commands - so as to sound in control. I will go back and see if I can't cut out some of the delay.
If you or someone you know can do a good job please upload recordings. The more talent we have the better.

It's damn hard to get pacing right, to slow and it sounds read out and wooden, to fast and nobody can understand what you are saying lol. Best bet is to make ten copies of the same line and pick the best one, 1 in 10 odds don't sound to bad Regards Wolfe

lol sounds right btw. if it's not too much trouble to make an eleventh copy could you all make one where you kinda try to leave any content-related word out of the text? such as not saying things like "stupid ferengi" (just a bad example from me ) but "stupid fool" or something like that. you know what i mean..

This is the Cardassian diplomatic mission http://www.botf2.com/Shared%20Documents ... batMIx.mp3I wanted to have more Mike in it but his recordings are limited. It is better he write code than spend all this time on recordings like I have.

I revisited the cuddly Klingons for one last mix. It is back to models for now. http://www.botf2.com/Shared%20Documents ... batMix.mp3Qapla! The ST majors all have something for an extended combat audio.

If you want additional voice acting consider creating specific text and instructions (see top of this thread)

I would like to have a broader range of accents. There is not a lot to choose from here in central Arizona. To hear more variety we will need to hear more from you and your friends please.

I want to ask, if it would be possible for the authors of the soundfiles to create some new files with the new racenames and empirenames from BotE? Only the soundfiles where you can hear the wrong empire- or racename are needed. I couldn't use files like "Greetings from the Romulan Star Empire ...". Now it should be like that: "Greetings from the Rotharian Star Network..." I hope you know what I mean In most of the soundfiles the name or empire isn't mentioned. They are okay and I want to use them. Here you can get a short overview about the new races in BotE: http://botfii.armadafleetcommand.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=2262I want to thank all people who would do this work!

It would probably be best to create a new thread for that. Less chance of the voices getting mixed up then. It might be confusing to meet the United Federation of Planets.

Sounds good. I am still rebuilding my PCs and working on landing an background actor spot in the film. When this is taken care of I can go after the voices. Anyone else please jump in.
