http://www.scifi-meshes.com/forums/gaming-discussion/37430-star-trek-supremacy-unofficial-botf-sequal-3.html#post285856From that several questions came to my mind, first off, do we have models for the calamarian and the cristalline entity? Maybe we can ask them for help modelling them for us. as far as the renders go for random events, I think it might be a good start to have the old botf images re-rendered cause those random events sure all get into botf2 too don't they? Does someone have them all zipped somewhere?

I can work on renders, no problem, if needs be.

Matress has them. I couldn't find the image of the Doomsday device for some reason though. I've uploaded the special event images as well, in case someone wants to improve on them. I think they're pretty good images as they are, but there's no harm in trying to make them even better. Random EnemiesSpecial Events

Ok. I grabbed the random events. (That's all that was up there - two random events ZIP files) Will put a few renders together tomorrow for random events. Pending the response from the team, I'll proceed.

wow, look at that baby: it's copyrighted and I don't know who that dave clark kind of guy is but something like this (maybe a little less bezier-obvious ) I could imagine as random event. Maybe when DJ finished his galaxy class and lends it to us, razor could render a similar scene out of it. Or is our current model equally detailed?

Our current model is good within the limits of our model parameters. It is not that good.

Oh lol nah, I mean that Malvoisin's image of the Galaxy with the fractals is my new background! Don't need any link coz it's already here! I said THIS in capitals coz Mike said he had a different image by the same creator, but i've got THIS one...as in the one above. That's one beautiful Galaxy class model.

I attached the background I use on my laptop... another render with Dave Clark's amazing Enterprise-D mesh. God, she's a beauty.

and what's the best of it, you basically only need to change the LCARS in the background window to a romulan or cardassian or... -style and maybe slightly change the overall coloring with gimp or photoshop and maybe invert/flip the image horizontally to make it go for every other race. Still, we don't have the copyright though. It's from trekmeshes.ch and if I understand the author there correctly, more of this is planned, even in a full 3D environment. Speaking of which, Star Trek 3D by that Italian guy should also account for some nice screenies...
