Good Morning, Good Afternoon and Good Evening Trek Gamers,

Please ensure your seats are in their upright and locked position and prepare for a ride - Hailing Frequency 43 is here.

In this episode, we return to normal programming for the first time in 2008 - and you may notice some changes. While the overall feel and format of the show has not changed - we have attempted to further promote the idea and feel that Hailing Frequency is broadcast from a ship - the UFP Devilfish - this is something we have always attempted to convey with varying success. One large step we have taken towards this is the implementation of an "in character" scene at the begining and end of each show lasting no more than a minute each - i think you will find them pleasing!

In an attempt to improve audio quality ever further this year, we have begun using a new method of recording - i think you will all notice the higher clarity and quality!

And now - Kickstarting things this show we have the Star Trek Gaming News from the ever popular and super sexy K'suan'indra.

Following on from the news, we talk about the recently announced bombshell that has affected trek gamers worldwide - Perpetual Entertainment has ceased development on Star Trek Online. We gauge the communitys response too this terrible news and we are later joined by Chris "ChessMess" Koerner of Star Trek Games, Victor "1st" Mullin of Star Trek Gamers, and for the first time ever on Hailing Frequency - the world famous Star Trek Writer Derek Chester.

Mod Weekly returns in this show where we hear about a new mod for Bridge Commander by DJ Kurtis - and on the first fleet radio of 2008 - we here the musical genius Arthur Yoria with "Something Must be Wrong".

Ever heard of KingWorld? Hailing Frequency reveals details of an investigation into the rumours about a new high budget star trek game in 2008 - we left no leaf unturned in our search for information in our attempts to confirm or debunk these rumours.

Lastly - we have STO-Zone episode eleven - with a twist - it seems that we have accidently recieved a transmission from an alternate universe, and the STO Zone has become...."The Alter Ego Show!"

I was just having a look at the proposed bridge commander galaxy class model (at roughly 33" in the podcast), that total done-from-scratch remake by that DJ guy, and I thought, well with just 11k polygons and low-,mid- and high-res textures available, it would be perfect for our 3D combat and wolfe's demo! It shouldn't be a problem since he explicitly says in the interview that he wants his model - once finished - in other good trek games and I think we meet that prerequisite do we? ;)

so, since Croesus is gonna do another interview with the guy in the near future probably, should we ask him to ask the guy if he wants to share the model with us?
