First of all let me say what a magnificent thing all the people working on this project have done. I literally have spent hours playing Supremacy since I got it to work a couple of days ago. My only problem I've encountered is every so often (usually in incriments of 20 turns) the turn process thing will get frozen on "Pre-turn operations". Has this happened to anyone before? If so did you find a way to fix it or did you just keep playing the same 60 turns over and over again? I'm not saying thats a bad thing because of how great the game is I'd just like to get a little farther than CruiserII...

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi airhunter04, welcome to the forums! :)

We're glad you're enjoying Supremacy. Comments from the community are always welcome, especially the nice ones! :mrgreen: :lol:

The problem you've encountered is a known bug; it's happened to other people as well, including myself. Mike (The developer) is attempting to find the cause, but until he fixes it, the problem is unfortunately gonna keep recurring. The only way I can think of to minimise the impact is to save your game on a regular basis - if it crashes, you can then just reload one of your saves.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help, but Mike will release an update to solve this problem as soon as he can. In the meantime, if you have anymore comments, feel free to let us know. :)

The problem might be caused by two fleets being issued the same order (usually 'colonize' or 'build station').

I think you may be right because I tried colonizing several worlds in one turn and it glitched. It also seems to glitch if you try playing from an autosave but that could just be my retarded computer.... 8)

Good work regardless and if there is anything u need done I'd be more than happy to attempt. I'm not a computer genius but I'll still try...

Hey Mike;

Please note that this bug did not exist back in your 2008-02-06 c release.

Correct, this bug is a regression. However, I have already tracked down the issue, and it will be fixed in the next update :).

I got another problem occuring the last time I played! Without any reason (no ship movement) the game crashes during the loading sequence: Process Fleet Movement... but this time without any error in the log! I can rightclick to the mainmenu but nothing else!

Any idea what's wrong?

This sounds like a known bug where two fleets being issued the same order (usually "Colonize System" or "Build Station") causes the game to lock up. It will be fixed in the next update.

I can't be caused because of giving equal orders. I've read about this problem in one of your former posts, and since that I took care about not giving the same order to different ships! I loaded the autosave and cancelled all order but the error still occurs! Any other suggestions?

If the problem is repeatable after loading a saved game, please send me the save game file so that I can try to reproduce it.

It was an auto save file, and since I'm playing every day, the one file with the error has long been overwritten. But when the problem occurs in the session I'm playing now I'm gonna send it to you!

I can't wait wait for the AI and some Empire competition! If you develope like you've done until now, it's gonna be sooooo cool! Concratuation again! I can't stop playing...
