Some of you might remember me from the old forums, I had a number of problems with Supremacy in that it would cause random graphics problems leading to some bizarre situations.
So I downloaded the newest version (as far as I'm aware), and am still having the same problems.

Correct.
I installed the .net 3.5 thingy, and am running 'SupremacyTest_20080206c'.

What drivers are you using, Nvidia or Omega etc?
Have you tried any others and if so has the effect stayed or gone?

I really can't believe these problems are still happening to you, Darth. It's lucky I saw your post on those other forums. I'll give Mike a nudge and see if he can trace the cause. ...I still think some of those glitches look cool though. Like Wolfe said, changing your graphics drivers might help. I'd definitely recommend the if you're not using them - i'm using them myself. The guy that makes the drivers hasn't posted any updates this year though because he's had some problems, so if you're got an ultra-modern graphics card, it might not be supported - yet. You will need to uninstall your existing drivers before you install the Omega drivers, but the uninstallers rarely remove everything they should. I'd recommend running or any other free driver cleaning programs you know of to make sure it is done properly before you install the Omega drivers.

Yeah mate I have no idea, I think Supremacy just hates my system for some reason I'll have a look at those Omega drivers - I didn't even know you could get alternate drivers for nvidia cards!

these are both for nvidia and amd. pretty cool actually. My card never really worked right until I installed them.

Skeet suggested the Omega drivers to me when I started getting green pixels all over my screen, about 6 months ago. It turns out it was actually coz my graphics were dying (2x Radeon 9250 128mb cards), but I replaced them with a much newer and more powerful Radeon X1650 512mb card. The Catalyst drivers were causing me all sorts of glitches though so I went back to the Omega drivers again and I haven't looked back since. The Omega drivers have also got tons more settings for you to play with.

Actually Mal, it WAS Skeet that told me about them. Skeet had to tell me about Driver Cleaner Pro before I could any other drivers to work, and he had to guide me through the entire process. I err...never actually clicked your link. If you read my next post, I skimmed over the issue...

If the Omega drivers don't work for you, then I have something else for you to try.
