lol, yes, Jean is very enthusiastic about the project, but not necessarily a grammar nazi. But he has been kind and supportive enough to maintain the site for me, so I'm willing to overlook its few shortcomings. Plus, it gets better with very new version he comes up with .

I just checked if gamespot has a record of covering unlicensed fangames and well it has: http://www.gamespot.com/pages/company/i ... ;publisherSome time after though, the guys behind LucasFan Games were seemingly shut down by LucasArts: http://www.lucasfangames.de/Hope that's no bad omen..

Another place people are talking about the game. They seem to get quickly to the fan issue. Heh, one of them seems to remember you from somewhere, Mike : http://www.quartertothree.com/game-talk ... ?p=1607705I'm pretty interested in what Jean can pull off regarding his latest activities with Bill Chinn, Atari and Bethesda. Maybe something turns out for Supremacy too considering they are now for quite some time on gamespot without any interference.

I just noticed that there have been a lot of people downloading the Supremacy source code from CodePlex. Oddly, nobody has posted any comments on there . I've been searching all the .NET developer blogs to see if it's been mentioned anywhere, but I haven't come across anything. Keep posting to this thread when you see references to Supremacy on the web, guys--it's nice to know who's checking it out .

I've signed up to the quarter to three forums to give those guys some links for both Supremacy and BOTF; they've got some of their info wrong. Annoyingly i've got to wait for an admin to read my signup email and that might take a while apparently. Isn't there a way to find out who is downloading the files, Mike? Doesn't the server record the downloads or something?

I guess that would be a little against privacy. I mean why not giving the full adress attached to each download? Now and then I do a "Star Trek Supremacy" 24 hours google search and if I remember right, some weeks ago there were several blog hits where people talked about the game but I was busy and didn't follow the link (just read the google text below the links). Now I haven't checked if they are still in last month google search..

Atrocities, our graphic "guy" who made all the BotE ship pics, has opened a thread about Supremacy on the shrapnel games forums: http://forum.shrapnelgames.com/showthread.php?p=674186 . Funny thing some people complain about the UI of Supremacy, one of the things I'd never complain about ever .

They dare to complain? Matress will teach them otherwise. My account still hasn't been activated on the quarter to three forums. Their admin must be useless idiots.

You got it through MSN? Who sent the link to you? Someone that you know and trust, or was it a spam-type message?

Oh that's ok. I wasn't sure if you meant that someone was creating spam messages in our name, that's all. We've already had to disable the shoutbox on our portal page because some idiot kept spamming messages about I AM A SPAMMER. There's always someone that has to ruin things for the rest of us. *Edit - I just signed up to the Shrapnel games website. I Did An Uberpost to introduce myself...hehe...

Hmm...questions, questions. Should I post there about us and risk Atari poking their nose in our direction, or do I ignore them and miss out on some advertising...?

I'm not sure if this has been posted before, but it looks like VGReleases has cloned the images of Supremacy from Gamespot. It's a pretty spartan page though... VGReleases Supremacy Page...Until you click the media link at look at the images. There's a very flattering review on there - in fact it sounds a lot like the sort of thing that Jean would write. VGReleases wrote: Star Trek Supremacy is The Successor To The Original Star Trek: Birth of The Federation. The Creator of Star Trek: Supremacy, Mike Strobel, is in development of The Greatest and most Cannon Star Trek Gaming title ever to be made... VGReleases Supremacy MediaI also just found out where the missing threads on the Gamespot Supremacy forum disappeared to - they're on Gamefaqs. Seeing as the sites are owned by the same company, i'm surprised I didn't think to look there before now. No one has posted on there since December though. Gamefaqs SupremacyI found another website that i've never heard of before with Supremacy info. They're hosting a download of the game, although it looks like it is woefully out of date; the filesize is only about half of what it should be. I'll contact them and see if I can give them some updated links. Trekcore Supremacy
