Micro$oft have just recently updated .Net to 3.5 SP1 RTM - it's no longer a beta. Unfortunately, this new version breaks compatibility, so Mike has had to make some changes to make it compatible again, but he hasn't released this update yet. The problem is Micro$oft's fault and not Mike's, but if you could just wait a few hours/days, Mike will release the update that will make the game work again.
I don't understand what the error messages mean because i'm not a programmer, but I know that this is the current (And therefore most likely) problem with your copy of the game. If the cause of your problem is anything different though, i'm sure Mike will post about it.

As Kenneth said, the download link is updated by Mike whenever he releases an update, but the game now also comes with an auto-updater; as long as the game doesn't crash before it gets that far, it will notify you whenever an update is available, Mario. It will then download the updated files only (Rather than the whole thing, so it runs much faster and saves bandwidth). You therefore only need the download link if something goes wrong.
When Mike updates the download link, he also updates the information to go with it. If ever the game has updated requirements, the info will be in there. There will also be a brief description of the update and any other relevant info, which is why you should check the download post frequently.

Hi guys,
Unfortunately, my development box at home has a corrupt registry, and I can't boot into it at the moment. That's problematic because it's the box that I use to generate the manifests for game updates. This means I can't push out a new update (to fix the .NET 3.5 SP1 RTM issue) until I reinstall Vista this weekend.
If I have time today, I might be able to package up the necessary files into a .zip and upload them as a patch to be applied manually.
Mike

There may be a glitch in the way the buildings update in your version of the game; it's probably something i've fixed in my own updates but I haven't released those yet coz i'm still working on them. Still, it's wierd that they are just appearing out of nowhere in your build queue. The game has no AI yet so I can't imagine who is giving the orders...
Is it happening in one particular system? Have you started a new save to see if it carries on happening? Is it happening every x number of turns? Is it happening after you perform a specific action? Any extra info you can give us will help Mike to track down the bug if it is indeed a bug. I have experienced it as well, but Lvls of tech seem to be irrevelent. It happened to be in my Sol system, it would ramndomly revert to a specific time in my build queue. It would be stagnant for a random mount of turns, then return to my normal build queue, with my buildings finished on time, as If they were going on in the background.

Have you redownloaded the game and checked if the same thing has happened again? I still haven't seen it happen, and that's only the second time this bug has been reported; it is therefore either an extremely rare bug, or requires a specific (But currently unknown) sequence of events to happen before it occurs.

It is likely that it's a rare bug, and it hasn't occured for a while, but it does seem to continuosly occur in one game randomly forever, but only in that game, starting over is the only fix when it happens. I concurr, Matress.
Btw, is it possible to program the other races to at least build the zero turn buildings that dont require any research, like orbital batteries and Destalation plans? You could use a simple "If-Then" group that is part of a base AI that is uniform to all the races. This base would only include functions that are common sense to all races, regardless of policies. Also the faction system should use the adjective form of each Race rather than plural, then the government names could fit:
Identity: ANDORIAN Short Name: Andorian Long Name: Andorian Empire Native Race: Andorians Identity: FEDERATION Short Name: Federation Long Name: Federation of Planets Native Race: Humans Identity: VIDIIAN Short Name: Vidiian Long Name: Vidiian Sodality Native race: Vidiians
Btw again, I own the Star Trek star charts, so I have some information that is rarely metioned otherwise. Such as the real Suns in each system, the real planets in some of the systems, political information, and I noticed errors in the planet classes, ex: gas planets aren't G and B, but actually I and J.
I'd like to help out with the technical information for Supremacy, and maybe join the balancing team, I've noticed alot of partially created ships in the editor, as well as missing details on home systems.
I'd like to offer my need of perfection to summarize. Hehe

The missing home system details have all been fixed in my version of the game - i've been personally working on a major content update for several month now, although I haven't yet started on the ships in the game yet; my progress over the last month or two has been non-existant because of several game and editor bugs and holidays. My building updates are nearly complete though. I've just got to solve a problem with some of the Cardassian structures, manually give all of the minor races the facilities they need (I removed global facilities to solve some problems with the facilities assigned to the Empires, but this now means all facilities must be manually assigned and that's gonna take me a good few hours to do because I will need to manually assign them for EVERY one of the minor races) and implement some new minor race defensive structures that i've been discussing lately via PM with Dafedz. If you want to have a look at my updates, you can download the files from Here. You will need to first make a backup of your Supremacy/Resources/Data folder and its contents, then unzip the file I uploaded into your Data folder and let it overwrite ALL of the files in there - the problem that I mentioned above of the facilities means the minor races can ONLY build primitive farms as ALL of their facilities - Primitive farms show up as Food structures, Power stations, Intel structures, Research structures, and Personnel structures lol. That's why you need to make a backup if you're gonna use these files.

By the details on the home systems, I meant that some of the systems had an incorrect lineup of planets, for example, the Vulcan system only has 3 planets, and one is an M class. The main sun color is also orange.

Not anymore they don't. Asteroid belts currently don't have an image associated with them in the editor (I told Mike about this problem last night) so they show up as a blank space; that's why I've highlighted the Asteroid belt in the image above. The purple Planet is a Crystalline planet, T'Khul. It's listed as a small, young, B-class planet that is rich in resources so I set it as Crystalline. It is curently the only planet in the game that is officially set as Crystalline, but Mercury is apparently also a class-B planet so I will be changing it to reflect this. More will be added if I hear of any other starsystems in Trek that have similar planets that should be in the game. The game may randomly produce other Crystalline planets in Minor Race homesystems however, although they will be a rare class type. The planet class has no particular bonuses yet, but I might create a special structure for the planet that increases raw material and/or Dilithium output. I'll discuss it with Dafedz.

lol, you still didn't change the sun to orange. The B class comes first, the Giant M (Vulcan), second, and a Large G-class comes third (T'Khut). Yes, the third wasn't a typo. If its not too much to ask, is it possible for Vulcan to have its own animation, because its a unique M class planet, if it gets one, Cardassia Prime should also gets its own for being unique.
I have just noticed an error regrading the Pakled, the inhabitants of their Home system has been set to Human, I fixed it myself, but it should be included in the next update. Same problem detected with Mintakans.
A detail about the Denobula System, it should actualy be named Denobula Triaxa and be Yellow, and the Denobulan Homeworld is named Denobulus, apply the name to the M class planet in the system.
The Andorian star needs to be white rather than blue.
In the Bajoran system, none of the planets have moons but Bajor (5) and the 8th planet, Andros (2), K-class. Lol, the system has 14 planets and one of Bajor's moons is a demon class.
Cardassian system contains an orange sun, two small class-B's, then 4 large class-M's, the second is named Hutet, third named Cardassia Minor, and the fourth of course, Cardassia Prime. they are followed by a small Q-class and then a ringed I-class. Btw, Q-class is variable planet ranging from molten to having CO2 ice due to eccentric orbit or variable star output, sheeeeeeew. Example: Genesis planet.

Excellent work, 3 of 12. Didn't knew about the 14 planets of Bajor?

3 of 12 if you wish you can create excel document with canonical systems data for all races including races without known information where you can estimate , then it would be easy for us to implement in game data.

An excel document would be useful, but it isn't necessary; i've already implemented all of 3 of 12's points that I can, Mal. It doesn't take long to enter the info in the editor. ...I had a few problems though: Bajor; the game can only allow for a maximum of 9 or 10 planets due to size constraints. If people want Bajor to be such a major system, i'll bump up the size of the planets instead. There is no way to define moons in the game though; they are randomly assigned, which means Earth can sometimes have four moons, and in other games will have no Moon! I instead set the Demon Moon as a tiny Demon Planet instead to ensure it would appear. I've done the same to Andoria; it is supposed to be a frozen moon orbiting a Gas Giant, but I set it as a tiny Arctic planet next to a Gas Giant. Anyways, here's Bajor and Andros: Cardassia; I didn't know the names of the non-Prime Planets, and you've confused me as to the naming order. By Hutet being second, is that the second planet from the sun, or the second of the class-M planets? I also put the I class as a Medium Gas Giant (If that makes sense lol) and the Q class as a Desert Planet. Are you really sure Cardassia is class-M though? I always thought it was a desert. This is the current layout, anyways: Mintaka and Pakled; there ISN'T a problem with Human invaders here; I fixed the problem a long time ago, but I haven't given any updated files to Mike since I started my update. There used to be a bug in the editor that caused Humans to be randomly assigned as the occupants of different minor race systems. That has since been fixed, but the game data files that are contained in the standard game have not been updated to reflect this. Vulcan; same problem as Cardassia Prime, except I always thought Vulcan was a Desert or Volcanic Planet, not class-M. Anyways, it isn't always possible to match the different Planet classes in the game to those in trek; the ONLY Planet classes in the game are Demon, Gas Giant, Rogue, Barren, Volcanic, Arctic, Desert, Jungle, Oceanic, and Terran. I also like to use This Site to help with deciding on the class of a Planet. ... Adding a Planet is theoretically easy. All you have to do is create a 512x256 pixel .png image of the planetary surface, like so: The game then automatically applies that image to a sphere, then adds a semi-transparent atmosphere texture on top of it based on the planet class. The texture image should be called eg. Vulcan.png, and the file should be put in Supremacy/Resources/Images/Planets. The game will then use the texture for every planet with the same name as an existing texture image. In this case, there's now a Vulcan texture, so the game will use it for every planet that it finds called Vulcan. I tried adding a texture for Vulcan, but until the Vulcans appear in one of my games, I don't know for sure that adding the new texture has worked. It's easy enough to replace an existing image though. I had some fun with Earth.

If I find anything, I'll post them here, in the specified resolution.
You can leave out the Demon in the Bajor system, I only mentioned it because I found it interesting. There is a way to fit in all the planets becuase of redundancy, just make em' bigger. I'll edit with lineup later.

Nah, there's so few Demons in the game we might as well have it. And you never know, you may find a use for them when you're actually playing the game... By the way, if you're doing a quote, you need to put quote marks around the person's name without any spaces in the code (You can write anything you want between the quote marks, it doesn't have to be a person's name and space are allowed) to get it to work, so you should've put: Code:
The quote goes here.
To get: 3 of 12 wrote: The quote goes here. Code:
The quote goes here.
To get: I'm saying anything I want here wrote: The quote goes here.

You will probably not read this. These fan games are made by people who have work, family, friends and other stuff. We don't get paid for this, we work on these games in our free time. So yes, I'm sorry that you have to wait for this update of Supremacy, but we truly hope that you will get back to this site in the future. Besides the current versions of Supremacy aren't even demo versions. They're pre-release versions, used to take out the bugs and get some feedback. I hope you understand.

Here's the Bajor system lineup: The first 4 planets are small B's so make a large one. Next is a medium N-class. then a large L-Class, and a Giant M-class (Bajor). Then is the tiny demon (Jeraddo), then an asteriod belt, then a Giant I-class, Large J-class, Finally, Giant C-class.

I've sent Mario an email along the same lines as yours, Iwulff. It's up to him to decide whether he wants to rejoin the community and offer genuine constructive criticism. ... Thanks for the info 3 of 12. I've done some research on Bajor myself, and the info i've found is a bit different to what you've said. The planets you've suggested don't add up to 14, and I can't find any info on Bajor 1-4. I'm just confused now so this is what I made it as: Obviously it's changeable just like everything else.
