Hello Mike, In your demo version, started to translate the file "String" in french but for our language it should be in "UFT-8" in relation to certain letters of our alphabet such as: é, è, ê.

The strings table should already be in UTF-8 format, but without a BOM (byte order mark, a 4-byte header). If it is not, then it is a bug. All Supremacy text-based data files should be encoded in Unicode UTF-8 without BOM (codepage 65001). If you require a BOM, you may add one. It will not affect the game's ability to parse the files.

how can I see that in windows? Probably with UltraEdit, but does XP have board methods to show text-encoding of files?

None of the UI designs for the other have been finalized, so I have no idea what the fonts will be yet. I'll try to pick fonts with a complete set of accented Latin characters.
