I do not know if you folks in the EU know about our special holiday here in the States. We call it Frackin BSG final season episode one day. It falls on this Friday. This is a day when we as a people gather around our plasma high definition TV sets and ignore all legal, moral and family responsibilities for a full hour. Happy Frackin BSG everyone.

I'm gonna have to start watching BSG again so I can continue this most wonderful of celebrations. I've only seen up to a few eps into season 3 so far. :(

...I'll have to watch it from scratch to remind myself.

I could never watch the new BSG, the cinematography bugged me.

Enjoy your holiday though :)

I don't like BSG myself. Tried to get into it, but I just couldn't ignore the gaping plot holes and sope-opery story.
Good CGI and actors tough.

I myself prefer Firefly over any other Sci-fi ever made.

Ooh I love Firefly. It was actually the Serenity film that got me into it. Luckily a friend had the whole series on dvd so I just did a Firefly-watching marathon. I can't believe such an amazing series is so unknown to most people. It's a travesty! God I wish there was more. They should've shot whoever did the advertising campaign coz we would have had more if more people had just known about the show at the time.

She's gonna drink some coffee ;)

Seriously though BSG is pretty damn good, plus being Sci-Fi its allowed to tackle topics that just remain taboo for normal TV. Same with Star Trek and all the good ones really :)

Yes, a hippy dharma ending. More the death of a culture than it was the physical extinction?
