Trekmovie.com rated my video entry in the Esurance contest as best of the week when it first went online. Esurance sent me this shirt for that. You can read the nice things they said about it here.

The contest is almost over. Watching the ratings it is clear that some guys are voting for themselves a lot and playing whack a mole with the other entries. My listing on Trekmovie.com briefly pushed my ratings up to four stars. The whack a mole guys slowly pushed me down to two. Thanks to your help here I moved back up to a solid three.


I know Esurance can tell what is going on here so I do not want to be a four or five star. At least not with hundreds of votes from the same IP address. I want as many people as I can find to vote. There are two days left and the whack a mole guys will be going at it fast and hard now. If I can just hold onto a three star rating without cheating it will be fine. The popular vote is only a part of how they chose the entry so please just help me hold on.

Good news. My daughter passed here licensing exam. She is now an RN. That is a lifetime career. The premiere only lasts a few hours.

Now she can support herself.

Yes, now I can. I was preoccupied with some great ideas about how to make my vidoe entree above look even better. When she called with that news it put everything into perspective.

As side light to the work on the video I was wondering about doing video capture of clips from Star Trek DVDs to use in the game. We could attach it to things like random events and as entertainment while you wait for others to finish the combat phase you can not see.

Check with MStrobel first i would, not sure on his policy for large files and all.

We are talking about it. The most recent suggestion to do this came from someone in the industry offering suggestions to Mike. It appears we are covered as a free fan game and if we go industrial with a license deal. That is at least per someone working in the industry.
