I saw the film yesterday and I really REALLY liked it :bigthumb: :bigthumb: :bigthumb:

Now, regarding the science review Kenneth posted, i read it carefully and as a physicist myself I totally agree with all the points raised.

Saw it yesterday, and jeezzz, what a piece of crap! I mean, it's visually very impressive, but the whole thing is so lame. There's really no logic to pretty much anything in the story. And those romulans?!
The guy is an assassin IMO... but I never really liked his work.
It's not really a ST movie IMO, but one of those gfx-centered films to pass time that are so popular nowadays. There's an "Origins" movie for just about any franchise know to man coming out recently.

I went and saw it for a 3rd time at the imex 2 weeks after it came out, and the imax sold out which was bad because you really get cramed in.
