Marky chill mate you'll get a chance to play the game, this aint an exclusive golf club...just that testers need to fall into a range of categories that are decided by the makers nothing personal.

yah man, i know, it's lot of work, but hey, i've allready translated lots of english textes into german for the onlinemmorpg shadowbane (http://www.shadowbane.de), so i allready got experience in doing stuff like that. and man, i'm a volunteer and botf-nerd, so i'm a real fanatic translator. so let me know, playing botf only in the english version could really suck.

look in the race descriptions thread, make a start there with the german translation.

i have deleted the posts which are refering to money, two reasons.
the first is it is illegal to charge for anything relateing to trek without a very expensive lisence being purchased. even mention of it could cause legal action.
the second is i hate the euro
please refrain from offering to purchase the game as this will rapidly bring in a few hundred lawyers onto afc`s head, something which we cannot have happen i`m afraid.

Non taken but I'm not talking about a project years ago but the botf2 project. From the start, a couple of months ago when the whole forum had, what, forty members or so. Together with Son of Mogh, iwulff and hedgehog the very first discussions made the basis for some great ideas (with a look through those posts I believe the idea for a science station, 2 build queus, shipyards defending themselves and some other came from me...) Not that I'm pushing or anything (these were just some ideas which were modified and changed through discussion) but I'd really like to make it for tester 'cause of that (just beacuse I wasn't around on the forums lately 'cause of work...)
-and I could probablly give a good description of the beta version being a game journalist for a computer magazine

Could those descriptions be changed later for every race? So each race could have unique descriptions about other races. It's a lot of work to make unique race desriptions for every race, but actualy all we need are desriptions of others for the playable races, for all the races that will become playable later the descriptions for them could be added by modders.

I think this would be a good idea, the klingons wouldn't respect other warriors because they would look at them as possible enemies... Hopefully it could be added so it was a little more realistic of the race your playing.

It already exists in botf right? When you meet a race and the small description (which is also heard on audio) is different depending who you're playing as.

Whats the word on game testers atm, with the beta coming up soon id like ot know whos getting picked ? are the 10 relevant posts gavin mentioned being counted ?

id love to do some testing

Then act quick, do some race descriptions, or some pics, or contribute some new ideas. Or just spend 3 hours a day on here insulting people like I do....
