They say that it's not impossible, not that it is possible, Spok. There's a difference. :P

I've read articles like this before, and we've in fact discussed some of them before on the forums. Those threads haven't been active in a long while though, so it's nice to hear something a bit more recent in the news again. So after reading what it says, I vote that we rename "Dark Matter" to Dilithium. Who agrees?

I am working on one in my garage. There is a lot of dark matter in there.

Aha. The Alcubierre drive...it needs a form of exotic matter, which has not been proven to exist yet. I guess they're speculating on whether dark matter would fit the bill, huh... :D

well guys a 100 years ago people thought flying was not possible

and if you would say LAPTOP 50 years ago you would be burnt at the stake by angry village people... hehe

so I think the ability of warping space/time is not only possible BUT we should in theroy start making crude warp devices since every gravity field (that of an atom or of a planet) warps space around it so its not a question of (do warp fields exist) its how can we control a warp field and make it without making a GALAXY size ship pardon my pun :P, I think gravity technology ( anti gravity and artificial tech) and efficint fusion technology will be the main answer to this and of course finding out what sub atomic partical gives atoms the property of MASS will be even better since the theroy of E=mc2 thingy will go out the window

Define warping 3 dimensional space around an object.

its not warping space around an object

its more like compressing and decopressing space infront and behind an object becuase u can't make a space bubble not even a black hole can rip space and make a bubble but u can compress it and expand it the universe itself did and is still doing it compressing space around gravity centers and expanding space in dark matter (theory) as the big bang is an expansion of space time :P

well its hard to explain but space warp is a cosmetic naming sort of

and what I'm saying is u can't travel faster than light but other stuff in the universe can like space so the trick is finding a WAY to do it

NOTHING is impossible its just up to us to find the best way to make it real

u can't fly but put on a pair of wings and with enough thrust you will fly faster than any bird, you can't see in the dark then just light a candle its not the IF its the HOW that matters, stop thinking stone age , the pretty woman in the village is not a witch if she doesn't want to go out with u, and the earth is not flat :P

Again, define the universe compressing space around gravity centers.
The BB is another matter. All matter was compressed before the BB. Then it expanded - the matter, or space if you will. Not sure what you mean with the rest. Time is an ever "expanding" entity, by definition.

Space travels faster than light? Now that's an odd concept....

I'm sure you think time travel is possible, but have you ever heard any reports about such travelers? Hey, I'm not counting movies :P

I think time travel is impossible because we still think that time is a flowing "river" while in fact its a matter of preception; time is not moving in ANY dierction its just there and yes if it was possible some one SHOULD have done it and I mean that if its possible then the universe is stuck in an endless loop from time of creation to time of end and is doomed to cycle like that forever :P

this will take a lot of pages to explain and its all fun and theory really and I need to finish coloring some icons :borg: color now color now :borg: :borg: :borg:

and yes every atom or energy partical or what ever effects space in a small way since its "taking" space to be there and u know u can't "add" or "eliminate" energy or matter from the universe not even one atom the universe has a fixed amount of "stuff" and all of the universe is just one HUGE web of energy and negative energy matter and anti matter and god knows what else its all conected you me the sun the small atom in a starship trillions of light years away from us its all part of this massive grid so the trick is finding a way to minpulate space and shift its location becuase while your in a "space" you will not be effected by the deadly E=mc2 and for all we know space is imune to it becuase when the univesre expanded "space" expanded faster than light as in millions of times faster than light so we just need to wait and see

its all theory after all but I REFUSE to belive that we are alone and that interstellar travel is impossible its just not logical now back to coloring :borg: :P

So which is it? NOTHING is impossible, or time travel is impossible?!?! You're contradicting yourself...

I'm guessing you haven't given too much thought about your reasoning, or this whole thing, right?
Oh, and some punctuation *really* helps. :P
