MOE, I found a ship that is similar to what we had as the Caldonian Cruiser. In order to use this new model I exchanged the Caldonian Cruiser with the T'Lani Cruiser II. Now the T'Lani Cruiser I and II look like this.

Ooh, I know that model, Kenneth. It's the Archangel class, and was a model created for Starfleet Command 2. I remember seeing it ages ago on Battleclinic. Good choice of models.

Loving all the models! They look great! With so many minor races in the game, I'm surprised at how much variety there is in the design of the ships thus far! Good job, Kenneth!

Thanks SeaBee-T. Most of what I do, to be honest, is find ship models online, get permission to use them and then convert them to work in our game. That is a long process of file conversion, orientation, scaling, re texturing, and creation of 2D in-game images that you see here. I and others have made some models from scratch for this game but with the large number of models needed outside models are the only way I can get the work done. I am two years into the project and hope to be done in a matter of months.
MOE is the real hero around here though. He does more than I have or can.

I don't do all that much work Kenneth. I just sit at the keyboard, rocking myself whilst waiting for the chance to pounce on the next forum post. That isn't so hard... Wolfe is right, you need to give yourself more credit for the beautiful work you do on the models. We wouldn't have a model library without you.

This is the Klaestron version of a star ship we first saw as Tamarian.

I am trying to complete the ship list before the combat engine is ready.
That gives us models to play test with. We can work on making the stinkers look better later.
Sometime it is easy to make a bad model look good in the 2d image. We would still want to replace the underlying model if it does not look good in the 3D combat engine.

I have replaced the Devore Colonyship I, II and III with this and moved the old model to Entharan Colonyship. Page one is not yet updated to reflect this change.

Damn Kenneth, you were busy in the last week! I particularly like the Bolian and Devore Colony Ships. If I had any tiny nit-picks though it would be that the Gorn Colony Ship could perhaps do with some additional Nacelles - the Gorn seem to like Nacelles on their designs.
Images updated.

Thanks for the feedback. Actually when you rotate the ship into the plain of the Star Trek space lake you will see that it sports four nacelles, same number as the cruisers. The two on the port side are lined up at the angle of view above.

Rather than make any more models let's just rip some pages out of the new Star Trek Ships of the Line calender. I was 12 models from done with the minor races. Each time I get near the finish line the line gets moved. OK, now I am done complaining.

Sorry about the changes, Kenneth. The "new" designs were always there, I just somehow missed them from the list. Dafedz will have some work to do to update the shiplist in his database. He's got something like 80 more ships to add. I don't frosee any further changes being needed though. And there's really no rush with the models - take a break if you need one. We'll still be here when you get back. I'll just switch to beating Wolfe into submission instead coz it's been months since the last combat system update.

As in models or simply images? If it's models you're after then I have absolutely no idea how to get my hands on those. If it's images though then check out their Ships Of The Line Page. Obviously you've already seen their Photo Gallery though to grab that picture of the Galor from.

OK, here is the Bynar Transport. (That should be a Cruiser) We also have the Suliban light Cruiser and Scout

Err...the Bynar don't have a Transport in the shiplist, Kenneth. I've checked the forum shiplist, Dafedz's shiplist, and the PM I sent you. They do have a Cruiser though. Is that perhaps what you meant? The Suliban Scout image is also placed in the images folder rather than the Minor Races folder. Is that for a particular reason? You've done the same thing for the Lokirrim Cruiser too. If it's a case of just putting them in the wrong folder, I can move the images myself if you'd rather. Let me know either way. I like the Suliban Light Cruiser. It's a bit like the Acamarian designs, but its a lot sleeker. And the "Bynar Transport" looks like two missiles strapped together. It looks like it is one solid weapon.

Good news everyone - now the Bynar have a Transport! Sorry and yes those were my mistakes. Out of 201 minor race ships that is a 1.4925373 % error rate. BTY we are now at something like 406 models in our library.

Like I said, rename it the Bynar Cruiser and that saves you all the work of making a new model. ...But I notice you've done that already, so i'll update the shiplsit images now.

Hmm...the Xindi Colon Ship...I corrected the typo in the file name, Kenneth. It's nice to finally see this ship with transparencies added. She's a beauty, that's for sure, and the Scout just has a look of evil about it.

Michael Raab was nice enough to supply this models to us in .3ds, our native file format. I have converted it into the Karemma Transport He has two other models I am working on. One will take the place of one of our Cardassian destroyers. The other one I am not sure how to use just yet.

I added in a Corvallen Destroyer, moved the old Andorian Cruiser II to Coridan Cruiser, placed a new Andorian Cruiser II.
