Not sure if this is a bug or not, but the colony ship upgraded to lvl III. I was about to make another and they were no longer in the ship directory. Just by accedent, I found 1 world that had the ship in the directory. I have checked every shipyard on the map now, and this is the only one that will allow me to make one. Have made 2 new worlds to see if they would come back :( nope..

The fed Colony ship II has no good picture, logically it should have the picture of the Edwards class.

The fed colony ship lvl I in the file from that link shows in my folder as lvl II, lvl I is not in my TechObjects folder at all. Just the class III is right That still does not explain the reason that I can only make a class III colony ship on one planet.

It sounds like you did find a bug. Mike will have to look into the code.

The image and model for the Edwards Class was taken from BOTF I and should not be confused with the USS Edwards. The later apparently was a Nebula Class ship. We have taken the Edwards Class to be a colony ship as it was so in BOTF I. MOE may know of some other justifications.

The Conestoga Class, Federation colony ship I, was see in the series Enterprise. It is something other than the model we are using at this time. I hope to build replacement models for these problems in the major races once I have models for all the ships in the minor races.

Finishing work on the minor races depends on how many more times MOE and dafedz add ships to the minor races.

Actually, the colony ship bug is known AFAIK (if it's the same one, couldn't understand fully what upgraded to what).

Not really sure what's going on with the database. Can't really recall if the ships should have PreRequisite settings - in the Feds, only the Transport II has this. The Klingon, Romulan and Dominion ships don't have any Upgrade/Obsolete paths set.

BTW, the Fed Scout II shouldn't obsolete Fed Scout I.

The Cruiser V does exist, it was my bad, a confusion with the Supreme tech starting conditions.

I was wondering about that, the Cruiser V is the Intrepid. Matress likes Voyager...

But now she's back with us.
