Starfleet is right; we need to avoid making them race/empire-specific; it wouldn't look right having Starfleet uniforms and the Federation logo on an image that you see whilst playing as the Klingons, for instance.

Since it's is a photo though, the only way you could make Starfleet's suggested changes whilst still keeping it looking good is to actually make an image. A butchered photo just wouldn't look right. In fact, for the random event images, my personal preference would be to avoid using photos and screenshots where possible; since most of the random event images have been created rather than them being screenshots and photos, it would look better if we maintained consistency and used images all of a similar visual style.

That's just my personal opinion though. I've added the explosion one to the list.

We only accept CGI's ( cpu generated images ) cuts from shows or cuts from photos are useless.

So Terrorist Bombing, Popular Advisor Dies, Plague I, Diplomatic Success ( Arms cut blended with cgi image feels wrong ) won't do but atmospheric disturbance image is good.

I've added a filter to the hands so that they look more computer generated.

The photo quality on the hands is OK as is or was. I think Zeleni is talking more about the photo with known actors from TOS in it that pushes outside our cgi "look."

I believe that I've misinterpered this Random event but here is as I've understood it.

@Vjeko- nemam ništa protiv filtera ali s obzirom da imamo već preko 300 komada art worka tvoj rad poprilično odskače od našeg stila, koliko god dobro upotrijebio filter ne možeš zamaskirat a da i dalje bude kvalitetno da se radi o real time fotografiji. Zato koristi samo CGI-e, kombiniraj bilo kavu grafiku nastalu u 2d ili 3d programima i da rad bude koliko može bit u duhu Star Treka. Znači samo 2d ili 3d nastao na kompu pa neće bit problema. Inače slike su ti dobre.

Npr. Diplomatic succes- osim ruku koje su dio real time fotografije, izbor planeta u pozadini je mogao bit bolji, trebaš pazit da se random eventovi javljaju kod svih rasa a ne samo kod Federacije pa je malo nelogično da je Zemlja u pozadini.

OK, kužim. Makar mislim da be se trebali razgovarati na engleskom da ne zbunjujemo druge ljude. Ako zamijenim planet s nekim drugim, imaš neki prijedlog kako naći 3D generirane ruke, makar sam razmišljao da ih zamijenim s možda nekim drugim znakom mira i rata(npr grančica masline il tako nešto.)

Al slika Plague1 nije real-time slika i mislim da se uklapa s ostalima.

Personally, I rather would see a temple with a crowd that is moving inwards.

Are new Diplomatic pictures more like other event pictures?

Mike is busy with work again, so I don't know if he has any releases planned at the moment. If you guys are looking for an information update though, Mike just sent me a reply about the combat system. He told me that he's got some ideas about how Supremacy *might* handle structure bonuses, ship statistics, and combat in future. I've already forwarded complete copies of the PM's to Dafedz and Wolfe since they are the people who most need to know about these updates should they actually be implemented. The updates are purely at an experimental stage at the moment though and will require changes to Mike's plans for the AI because they complicate matters quite a bit. But if it is successful, it will mean the game will be much more flexible, allowing us to both come up with - and actually implement - some really cool bonuses and random events in the game in future.

Add this to one of the features that i'm not allowed to talk about at the moment, and it looks like we're going to have some really cool features in the game.

Oh, and i'm also discussing with Dafedz about the possibility of adding two new canon minor races. .Iceman's gonna hate me.

We could us the photo as inspiration and photoshop up our version of a Cardassian, Romulan, Klingon.....

I've been thinking about it, but I don't know what should it be like.

But are my new pictures good? Because I have some doubts about "Popular advisor dies", will the people understand it?
