Nice, but if I may, I've noticed that the left side if the picture was expanded and it's visible that you have just copy-pasted small columns of the pic and it looks little wierd, other than that it looks great.

I see what you are talking about but I think you are confusing the blurring tool with cut and paste the image was not modded too much other then color layering and 3D scale anyway took you suggestion in added more to the image. revised Atrean-Institue-of-Science image
Edit: instead of having a long re, re ,re do list I puled the first and added it's replacement

you see how cloud and water textures are repeating themselves, I suggest you use spot healing tool to correct that.

We should check with Matress if he ever comes back. The Utopia Planitia was to be linked to one of our two Federation Fleetyard models. It looks nice but may not fit into our combat models and in game images of models.

Isn't the Red Admiral Fireball's alternative name? In which case we won't have a problem getting permission to use his pic. Kenneth is right though, the plan was to use renders of the actual model of Utopia Planitia, just like we're doing for all of the ships, shipyards, and stations.Whilst the image is great, it would stand out like a sore thumb in that respect if it was different.

I believe you said Federation Starbase II was the Utopia Plenitia.
correction (That is the Fleetyard II, not the Starbase II)

?
Did I?
Matress is confused. Been away from the forums too long to remember. The image you posted is Utopia as far as I know. I thought the Starbase 2 was the Spacedock one with the big skirt around the midsection?

I agree on the Utopia Planitia image - it should match the in-game model. And by way, I'm the Red Admiral - that was my modelling name, and that render is of one my Utopia meshes. it will do though for now as a placeholder.

Oops, my bad. That image is the Federation Fleetyard II and not the Starbase II. The Fleetyard II = Utopia Plenitia

Dafedz = Fireball. Fireball = Dafedz. Just ask Fireball, he knows what I mean.

Who made Aquatic Deuterium plant picture?
I made an enhancement but I don't want to post it before I get a permission from the original artist.

Zeleni acquired the Aquatic Deuterium Plant image. In fact, at least 50% of the structure images that I have for the game (Many of which haven't been released on the forums yet) were acquired by Zeleni. Which reminds me, I desperately need to update the list in the first post of this thread. I'll get on it now.

Partially. I'm still working on it. It's updated as far as the Romulan structures, not including the latest additions from Dafedz's database (Which confusingly Zeleni has already managed to produce images for a large number of lol)

I found this in alt.res, BOTF archive, it's unused picture of Ferengi tower of commerce so I'm not sure we can use it but if anyone knows who made original BOTF art I will try to contact him and ask him.

Oh, where did you find that image? I've not seen it before. The Ferengi are currently using the images from BOTF, since we've only ever had one image submission (Which was from Skeeter) for the Ferengi but that image doesn't really fit the purposes we have for it.

It's unused art for the Ferengi I've discovered few days ago. There is more for other races:

All this images are used in old botf Vjeko. Val that image from botf has channels mixed up at first look.

I know they are from BOTF, but they are not used in BOTF so with artist's permission we could use them.
