Hmm.... we could simply phone up Atari and ask if we could go digging in their long-forgotten Floppy Disk Paradise. The plan would be:
1. Phone Atari. Ask to go to into their floppy disk basement
2. Enter Floppy Disk Paradise, where we can immediately contemplate which of the millions of floppys contains the combat engine we're looking for
3. Find the Floppy Disk, after hours of searching, and leave with it
4. Attempt to locate computer with floppy drive (possibly non-existent)
5. If no floppy drive computers are available, find an external floppy drive
6. Insert Floppy Disk, and read error... I mean...... read combat engine files
7. Update combat engine files, and release with supremacy
8. Rest
9. Continue work on Supremacy
And that's the impossibly long plan..... any takers?
EDIT: Since Kenneth posted before I had a chance to, The original BoTF engine runs fine in Windows 7, I have mine working. Still, any takers for the plan?
FURTHER EDIT: I have re-read Kenneth's post and realized that he was talking about the XP combat engine..... which I don't have.
