Relax This is why we are going to Vegas. With the features that will be put in place from now until August this game will snowball. Give it time.

Thanks, I would love to be your Kenneth Khan.
So listen my fellow augments and I will show you the way. We can now plan the art of our war to be the number one Star Trek Fan Game by this time next year.
To do this we will not make a direct attack, as in chess. That is what has failed us for the last two years in this contest.
We will instead listen to the teachings of Sun Tzu, The Art of War. We will us a Go stratagem and take the most ground with the least number of troops as possible. We will have a multi-player game by August. This will build our fan base as the game becomes playable. News of our work will be further spread at the Vegas Star Trek Conversion. We will make media contacts with Hailingfrequency and Trekmovie.com at their web pages and at the Convention. As word spreads and more player see the beautiful content and play craft more fans with vital skills will come to us to offer content. At this time next year we will be the number one fan game. A year after that we will be the most popular Star Trek game.
BTY Sun Tzu's quotes, the first two of his book, should be a lead into our game if not in the 'While you wait.'
1. Sun Tzu said: The art of war is of vital importance to the State.
2. It is a matter of life and death, a road either to safety or to ruin. Hence it is a subject of inquiry which can on no account be neglected.

The game isn't done yet, hence the missing images . And @Kenneth, quoting Sun Tzu? I thought we were making a game, not shooting at people. I believe the tactics in an industry are a bit different than the tactics on the battlefield. for instance, in the battlefield, you simply wait for the enemy to rush you before decimating them, but in the games industry, you simply hype everyone up on the best (and yet to come) features of the game, and then everyone plays it, and then everyone loves it, and everyone buys it. That's the way Cryptic sold STO. Will I be thrown out an airlock for adding to Khan... erm... Kenneth's idea?

I believe that the entire life is a one big battle.
Our battle has begun, the only question is are we strong enough to win. As for the this years defeat, we may have lost the battle, but we will win the war!
As our Klingon friends say: "Revenge is a dish best served cold." And we will have our revenge!
Long live Supremacy! Long live the Empire! (Oops, that belongs to a mirror universe)

Ah, well, if you're gonna be like that then.... but I agree with Kenneth that getting the word out about Supremacy at Vegas will significantly improve it's chances of winning next year. Is the next update going to be released during the time of the convention? Before? After? I was just wondering....

You resist the Empire? Nah, just kidding. I believe that there will be an update by August, updated version will be available at the convention and I don't see why it shouldn't be released for everyone.

Mike hopes to have a multiplayer version that can run on networked laptops at the convention. One PC will drive a large flat screen so even the Vorta can see it across the room in demo. I would guess we will see diplomacy, espionage and if we are lucky a simple form of combat without 3D. I take it that the AI is put on hold while all this is going on.
In other news the proof for the banner was approved and it should ship shortly. Thanks vjeko. The image looks great.

Thank you for the banner. The banner will help grab attention. I know Hailingfrequency and Trekmovie.com will have a presence there. It is the media that I want to connect with. That will do a lot more than just the convention to get us noticed. Let's see if I can treat them to some Romulan ale.

OH NOES! A Klingon accepting Romulan Ale?!? Does this mean the ultimate peace has hit the galaxy?? Or is it just the beginning of a bad relationship? Well, it's been fun so far helping to write random events for Supremacy. When was that convention? August? Hmm... I wonder if I could drag my parents and sibling down to Vegas in August. That's pretty much the only way I'm gonna get down there. Oh well. You WILL post pictures of the convention, right? That way, we can see all of the people gazing at the banner in awe...... I think .
