As you may or may not know, Matress recently stole my nanoprobes, resulting in the unfortunate assimilation of Matress.... This is completely pointless fun. So here's how it works:

1. Captain Andrew posts the first part of the storyline.
2. A different person continues the story.
3. In the end, everyone laughs at the story everyone has made.

RULES:

This IS a story about curing Matress of assimilation. Try to stick to the topic....

At the beginning of your post, state which part of the story you are creating (eg. Part 1 [which is done by me], Part 2, Part 3, etc)

Part 1:

The Captain searches for a cure for Matress, who has recently been assimilated. Unfortunately, the computer he has is far below average, and continues to insist that the only option is to kill Matress. Not accepting this theory, the Captain throws away the computer, and acquisitions a new one from Supremacy HQ. The new computer insists that Matress must be brought in for analysis, obviously forgetting that Matress's evil spies will catch on and destroy the computer. The Captain continues to search for a solution....... END OF PART 1.

While searching for a cure, Captain recieves a hail. It's his friend Vjeko, the transmission is badly garbled but he is able to hear "We .eed to meet, ..et me at ........ ..... coordinates 1127.4 by 4052.0 by 3901.1. I have s..... ...... info. A.... .f.s..... d...s..... END TRANSMISSION. "

Part 1c:

After receiving the hail from his friend Vjeko, the Captain asks his computer to clear up the transmission, so that he may know where to find Vjeko. The computer tries its hardest, but can't quite get it right. The Captain still has the co-ordinates of where to meet Vjeko. He boards his nifty antique Constitution-class starship, and flies to the co-ordinates indicated..... END OF PART 1c.

After arriving at the coordinates, the computer identifies the star as Azati Prime. He soon recieves a hail from an old Xindi outpost abandoned after the Earth - Xindi conflict of 2154. It's Vjeko welcoming him to Azati Prime. Few seconds later a Romulan Valdore type warbird decloakes and destroys the station. Using Hit and Run tactics the warbird recloakes and disappears. Captain shocked by the destruction fails to notice a small energy surge that came from the station to his ship just moments before it's destruction. Surge that could have come only form an old Mark V Federation transporter.....

Part 2a:

The computer indicates a transporter surge to the main cargo bay. It attempts to alert security, but there IS no security onboard. The Captain goes down to the main cargo bay to meet Vjeko. Vjeko tells the Captain that he has discovered the location of a secret Romulan outpost, carrying experimental nano-technology. He tells the Captain that if he agrees to help him infiltrate the outpost, the Captain can keep the nano-technology, in hopes of completing a cure for Matress...... END OF PART 2a.

In order to successfuly infiltrate the outpost they would need better hardware and experienced mercs. They set a course for Spacestation K-7, former federation outpost now controlled by the Klingons. Vjeko knows a weapons merchant there named Gaila that could help them.

The Captain and Vjeko arrive at K-7 and begin talking with the mercenaries there. The weapons merchant Gaila has recently gone missing during a weapons exchange on Ferenginar. The Captain retrieves the co-ordinates Gaila beamed down to, while Vjeko finds out what was being traded and who was being traded with.... END OF PART 2c.

Gaila was arrested on Ferenginar for running illegal slave market. His moon was sold on an auction, and was bought by Grand Nagus Rom and given as a gift to his cousin Quark. After a while Vjeko menages to hire Mike Strobel, great freelance computer engineer, formerly assigned to DS9 to replace O'Brien. Captain is able to hire a merc with codename Zeleni to help them. Becuse of Gaila's disappearance they must find new weapons merchant, luckily they meet.............

The Captain and Vjeko manage to run into Nancy, an experienced weapons merchant recently assigned to K-7. She manages to hook the Captain up with some high-powered tetryon weapons, while Vjeko manages to acquire a more advanced type-4 phaser rifle. The pair acquired a shuttle capable of holding the entire strike team. In an hour, they would set out for Ferenginar, where they would try to break Gaila out of prison.... END OF PART 2e.

[NEXT PART OF THE STORY BEGINS PART 3]

Upon arriving on Ferenginar they find out that Gaila was killed. The residual energy trace is consistent with type IV disruptor type weapon. It's obvious that Romulan agents are responible. Knowing this they are aware that the Romulans are closer than they thought they were and that they should be on thier guard. Without Gaila they decide to turn to Garak, now the leader of the Cardassia. He owes a favour to Zeleni, which helped him years ago while on a secret mission for the Opsidian Order.

Garak agrees to meet the Captain and Zeleni to discuss the plan. The Captain makes a point of telling Garak that the outpost they need to infiltrate is somewhere inside the Romulan Neutral Zone, and that it is presumably secret and therefore well guarded. Garak assures the Captain that getting inside the outpost will not be a problem at all. The Captain is about to propose an entry plan to Garak when several Romulan agents beam in and start shooting. Zeleni sends out a distress call to the shuttle, now cloaked, that Vjeko and the strike team are on. Unfortunately, by the time Vjeko can beam a team down to assist the Captain and Zeleni, they are gone, and Garak was dead on the floor...... END OF PART 3b.

After examining Garak, everyone except Vjeko beams back to the ship. He stays and calls Garak's aid to make sure someone knows he is dead. He gets some advanced equipment from the Garak's friends. He beams back and checks the Ship's sensors. There is a signal traveling at Warp towards Romulan space. He turns back to the team and just says: "So far, everything is going as planned."

addition: I can't believe you killed Garak, he is my favorite Trek character.

The Captain and Zeleni, now aboard the Romulan warship, are attempting to access and read the Romulan communication logs. Unfortunately, they realize that neither of them speaks fluent Romulan or Reman, and thus they both have no idea what they're doing. Luckily, a Romulan aide enters the room as they are attempting to access the main computer for the third time. The aide seems harmless enough, but the Captain and Zeleni cautiously make their way towards him. He explains that he hates his current position, and would do anything to make it up to a higher position. After a very convincing recruitment speech for the Federation from Zeleni, the Romulan aide agrees to help translate the Romulan so that the Captain can access the computer. Shortly afterwards, the Captain discovers a terrible secret... the Romulans on the vessel have been communicating with Supremacy HQ on Earth........ END OF PART 3d.

[NEXT PART BEGINS PART 4]

...with a Captain_Picard. However, both Captain Andrew and Zeleni realize that this can't be the well known Captain Jean Luc Picard of the USS Enterprise, but some impostor who infiltrated the Supremacy HQ. What might his agenda be?

Not a second more passed when a red alert sounded and the Norexan-class Warbird trembled throwing the Romulan aide into a sharp corner head first. As his green blood began staining the wall, Zeleni said...

"What what was?'". As Captain Andrew and Zeleni raced out of the detention center and into the corridors, they notice radiation piercing the hull of the vessel. This is not a known assault tactic of the Federation, and so Zeleni and the Captain presume the Romulans are under attack. Using this opportunity, they head for the shuttle bay. Unfortunately, the doors are sealed and this is the only way into the shuttle bay.....

"Captain, our only chance is to get into the shuttle bay. There's no other way out of this ship..." The Captain gave Zeleni a nod and rushed to the shuttle bay door.

"Zeleni, watch my back while I try to bypass the security lockouts of the door. I'll try some Borg decryption algorithms I learned from Seven of Nine".

Zeleni had taken the disruptor of the now dead Romulan aide and hid by the corner so that he would see any coming Romulans before they could see him. If he was lucky enough he would take out one or two of them before they even realized what was going on. He knew that since the ship was under attack the Romulans would be preoccupied but that would not last for ever. Either the ship would get destroyed or the Romulans would after all prevail and start sending repair crews. Zeleni knew that both prospects were against them...

"Got it! We are lucky the Romulans only use 16384-bit encryption." The Captain rushed into the Shuttle bay and Zeleni came in after him. They were both surprised to see two shuttles waiting for them. One was a typical Romulan short range transport shuttle and the other was a Danube-class Federation runabout! Both of the them had the same size and similar defensive capabilities. However, the Romulan shuttle had a cloak but they were more familiar with the controls of the runabout. They knew they were running of time but they had to make a hard choice.

"Zeleni, I think the mystery gets more and more interesting. A Federation runabout in a Romulan shuttle bay... Unfortunately, we will have to solve it another day."
