Yeah, I know to change the Homeworld type. I'd do that without thinking. As for the Talosians, using This Site for reference, their system will now have a tiny Volcanic planet, a small Desert planet, a medium Jungle planet, a large Terran planet, and a tiny Arctic planet.

Correct, and a red star, also, I have a personal request. Talos IV was the first planet shown in Star Trek, I would be honored if you let me make a texture based upon the original Talos IV shown in "The Cage", and it would be our tribute to Gene Roddenberry and the original Star Trek.

After this one we can stop with planet textures,

Your honour is officially bestowed. This is with the Assimilated atmosphere texture. I just noticed how it makes the planet look slightly jagged unlike the other atmosphere textures. Odd.

I did a little experiment in Photoshop and made this gas giant texture. If you think it could be useful someware ingame we will put it in.

I've put it in as GasGiant04.png. I don't know if the game will load 04 images but there's no harm in trying. We need Gas Giants to be the most varied of the planet textures because they are the biggest and most visible. It's more obvious if the images are repeated. Even just the one extra image will greatly reduce the repetition. It looks a tad sharp though, kinda like it was physically drawn with pastels on paper, so I blurred the image a bit to make it seem more realistic.

I can also add the modifications of the solar systems I have made so far into this list so that when we get the new editor we can finally put them all ingame. EDIT: OK HERE IT IS WITH MORE INFO ON SOME STAR SYSTEMS COLLECTED FROM MEMORY ALPHA So, what's the verdict? Is it in or out?

Hey Vjeko, can you make new data in .pdf files like i did for andorians, acamiarians and yiridians... with all related info, just follow there my structure of file, when i did it that way i discovered some interesting perks for some races like thing that acamarians are excellent in bio science which was overlooked by dafedz. It would be great to have one file with all significant races. Also i have some ideas about characters in supremacy but something on that subject i will post later.

Haakonians are in the Alpha quadrant, they should be in the Delta quadrant.

As a records officer, I have a PDF maker if you want me to collect something together. Give me all the data in Word format. I can even put your race emblems into it. I was thinking about this anyway as a reference section of the manual. Captain B.

FYI, Office 2010 has native support for saving to .PDF. Office 2007 had it as a downloadable add-in, but you had to go through Office Live to get it.

I have a question for everyone, I've made some planet textures based upon footage from the series. But in Vulcan's case, it has several looks. What look would you prefer the ingame texture to be? TOS: Attachment:

ST III: Attachment:
vulcan-startrekiii.jpg [ 29.76 KiB | Viewed 12234 times ]
TNG: Attachment:

ENT(the current texture is based upon it): Attachment:

TOS-R Attachment:

Taking in mind the quality of the designs, I would recommend that you decide between the ENT version and the TOS-R version. I just want to know what version you prefer, after that let me worry about the rest.

Here is the texture with both TOS-R and ENT elements, combined with the red atmosphere it looks similar to both versions. Attachment:

We'll be doing it in our game. Which brings up a thought. I don't recall the planet image actually changing in BOTF 1 when we terraformed it. Seems like it should right? Hmmmm. Nature Bashir PS. Do you like the new pips with a paintbrush?

We will change the type of planet so when you terraform it, it should be replaced by a randomly generated planet of the same size in the correct class. If needed I can make terran version of Mars and perhaps Venus (they are the two unique planets that will probably be changed to Terran type while playing, all other are homeworlds and it's doubtful that anyone will change them)
