My trip is postponed for tomorrow so I have some free time and I decided to post some of my early art(?) which I did for Supremacy 4 or 5 years ago. Don't laugh, I was complete novice and I didn't had clue about modeling or 2d art. It was the time when old project was dead (gavin tufrey) and some old members lost hope and decided not to take the part in new adventure called Supremacy. It was the time of "dark ages", forum wasn't frequent place and days were passing without single post. Only frequent posters of those days were Jiggalypuff, Skeeter, Matress_of_Evil, Mike Strobel and Kenneth_of_Borg and sporadic guests. Our art production was humble at least and it was more learning attempt for me then something usable or worthy for the game. I think that was the time when Kenneth_of_Borg also was learning different 3d programs and I invite him to share with us his early works too( and all others). Lots of time passed since then I'm happy to see today huge amount of talented people here who work each day to finish this project. I don't think this project would be ever finished without new members like Bashir, Vjeko, Cpt.Andrew, Anty-minty, Cornyx2 and all other who contribute each day. Now back to the topic. Before you start laugh you should know that all models were done upon my own designs : (what enthusiast i was) First attempts:

I can still use them for a background structure when I need to fill in an empty space in a cityscape or something like that.

Thank you Mr. Z. This is what I would like to present at a talk about fan game development. There is a great human story here. We have seen a few professionals from time to time. People like Slim and Happytrek have come in with all the skills and experience in place ready to go. Other, like me and Mr. Z, have been carried along by our enthusiasm and willingness to learn. If you do not mind Mr. Z I would like to save some of this fin work for the day when we do present Supremacy at a con. I would like to show it along side what you are doing now. You could not make up a story like this. At least not one that people would believe. I will look around when I get the time for my first models. I can think of some winners.

I didn't think the Orion Syndicate, T ship, Acamarian raider, and the Barkonian Industrial forges were that bad. Just work on them a little more. The rest... not so much I'm so glad to be part of this project. Great history. Bashir

So this is what polygon gone wrong is supposed to look like.... I see . KIDDING! I think the images here are great starts. They're certainly better than anything I could have ever achieved in model art. I have to agree about the Orion Syndicate, A few of the models are... well... different. But this is seriously a great way to view the history of this project. Thanks for sharing Zeleni .
