I was so overwhelmed by all the rest that I missed Destiny exploding!!! WTF!

How did you miss that explosion?!

And did anyone notice Matt being shot from behind? Or was there a space battle going on in the background? It happened around 2:02 into the video.

What do you think the purpose of Destiny was?

Do you think Chloe is going to turn into an alien? Or was it just one of her ongoing nightmares?

And did you notice how the second ship looked like it was supposed to connect Destiny? Like they were supposed to join to form a larger ship?

There was a lot in those trailers. Obviously spread out over many episodes. I guess it gives away that they defeat the Lucian Allliance Invasion

That would be so cool if Destiny hooked up to another ship and they became larger. Must be one of the gate seeding ships. Perhaps that's the one that had the alien in it. Or could it be that Chloe turns into the alien?

BTW, the Universe does not have an "edge" or an end. It has a horizon, ie the farthest you can see but that by definition is always centered on you. So, Destiny's purpose must be something else. Perhaps, making sure that the gate seeding is done properly? Conducting some experiment? My guess is that Rush knows it

So what do you think about the baby? Was it a hallucination? The nebula suggests it wasn't. But then how did they take the baby?

I think the writers are doing something with this. The baby is on the planet. She takes comfort in that. After all, how could she have seen the Nebula ahead of time. The guy she was talking to on the planet had longer hair. In a dream she wouldn't update that. There was a man and woman acting like a couple. No hint before. Why did she make up the cabins? (I guess that one could be explained as a logical part of a dream) although to update her planet memories to a winter?

Having Scott and Greer hide under the ship was genius. They were protected by the shield and two layers of hull.

Did you notice that the girl that Eli kisses, appears to be the one that shot the crazy Lucian in the back?

My guess is that the baby is really dead (they must have the dead baby on board or did I miss this as well???) and she just dreamed the whole thing. This does not explain the nebula however.

Her wounds heals pretty fast, didn't they? As it seems she will be the the freak of the series, unless it is proven that she is either an alien spy in Chloe's form that slowly reverts to its original form or a human-alien hybrid where the alien side dominates, and the real Chloe is still held prisoner

I am wondering what is going to happen with the newcomers and by the way, it reminds me a lot of the Maquis on Voyager. Come on writers, come up with some original ideas

So what do you guys think was in visible range at the end of the episode? I think it was the other ship that seemed to link up with in the season teaser trailer.

indeed there is a second ship in range but I can't speculate on its purpose. This would be good point for Rush to earn some 'paragon' points (as in Mass Effect ) and disclose his ability to control Destiny. Obviously, it would be better if they had two ships instead of just one

the second Destiny-class ship was swarming with the aliens It would explain why they gave up on hunting Destiny (since they now had the other one) and it would also explain the scenes in the trailer with the aliens roaming in the corridors (if I remember correctly).

space shuttles???? Destiny had 2 and I think they lost both of them So, even if there is a second ship in range how are they going to board it? I doubt Destiny has transporters (these ring devices).

I bet it is one of the gate ships. I just figured they could gate from one ship to the next?

They put some of the Lucian's off on that planet, but kept others, including the girl for Eli.

Seems to be of the mindset that sacrificing people for the good of the "mission" is worth the expense. Col Young is the man. He knows when the risks should be taken and would have called back the shuttle. Once again Rush is wrong about Young. The colonal made a difficult decision when he put Riley out of his pain.

They get new shuttles from the other ship. Hense making the gateship discovery the next episode. In fact it probably has food and spare parts. However, you may be right about it being overrun with aliens.

Remember that we see a ship that looks like Destiny explode in the teaser trailer as well though. Perhaps it was Destiny and they all move to the other ship. Or perhaps they destroy the other ship because the aliens are onboard?

Interesting...no blowing up of ships. So why do you think the aliens were on board the Gateship? They weren't the same aliens as before, they were different aliens again. And why were they draining Destiny's energy? If they were trying to stop their own energy from being drained, they could've just severed the power. We know the Gateship was damaged somehow, but not in what way. And what was the information that was being transferred to it?

Would you trust the Lucian Alliance captives? I wouldn't trust the bloke from Heroes, but the girl seems level-headed and reasonable. I'm starting to wonder if their leader has a thing for TJ though...

So now we finally know what they look like. I'm amazed at Rush. The gate building technology would be priceless. Do you think the computer uploaded a program (put in by the aliens) to take over Destiny? It is quite possible that the aliens stopped the seed ship because they discovered Destiny in the computer and wanted it. They didn't expect a crew but took power away to try to keep Destiny as a prize.

I thought they were going to be the first ones tried through the link to earth and then there would be a problem and everyone else is forced to remain. We know the girl will be accepted as crew. Not sure about the guy with a thing for TJ.

So she had immunity to the infection from the alien "plant" due to what the aliens did to her? So if I take a rat, poke it around, do some tests, mess with its brain, will it get immunity from viper's poison? WTF? Unless, "she" is not Chloe but an alien in disguise or something with Chloe's memory. That would be a better explanation.

In the dream, why was he portrayed as a cop? Does this mean that somehow he will return in the form of a "cavalry" of sorts? May be saving them from some danger as he did in the dream (by not allowing them to drive while the were drunk). Or did it refer to what he already did with the Lucian Alliance people? Hmm, many questions are open...

Her alien conversion may only extend as far as her immune system. We've now seen the altered skin of her face we saw in the pre-season trailer. It was imagined. Maybe that's as far as it goes. You could postulate that space traveling aliens would have developed resistance to this organism, via previous contact. Problem is, Destiny is supposedly in a different galaxy than the aliens that had Chloe in the tank. BTW, the distance between these galaxies should have them traveling in a space void over centuries. Funny how they cleared it in one episode.

Danger, now the aliens have two accomplices!

Time to move on dude! Make out with the Lucian gal and be done with it.
