I went to queue a trade center in one of my systems and much to my amazement I got the insufficient resources sound effect. I looked up and saw a big fat zero in the deuterium resource slot. I went to the system that holds the deuterium distribution facility thinking I must have just ran out, but there was a large amount in storage. Then I thought maybe it got turned off somehow so I checked the energy for that system, but it was still on and I had plenty of excess energy. It's on and there's plenty of resources but they're not getting to my other systems for some reason. I turned it off, ran a turn, turned it back on, ran another turn and still nothing. All of my other distribution facilities are working just fine though.

Is there some kind of random event that disables distribution facilities for a number of turns? I've never seen any kind of random event in the game, but I don't always read every single event each turn. I checked the buildings data file but I didn't see anything that would account for this. Will my facility eventually start distributing again or is this a bug?

Can you attach the sav file please? So I can debug it...

No need, I figured it out. I recently took control of a minor race that used to belong to the Heyoun. They had built a deuterium distribution facility there, so I had two of them running at the same time. Apparently they cancel each other out. Funny thing though, the system that had the duplicate facility was receiving materials from the original...

Anyways, after the duplicate facility was dismantled everything went back to normal.
