Hello all, I have an idea that would appeal to those who wish to play with "The Mirror Universe".

My idea:
1) In the main menu, create two buttons:
PLAYING WITH THE NORMAL UNIVERSE
PLAYING WITH THE MIRROR UNIVERSE (The Federation would be replaced by "THE TERRAN EMPIRE")

2) In the MIRROR UNIVERSE:
- There would have the same structures system as in NORMAL UNIVERSE
- There would have the same ships models as in NORMAL UNIVERSE, Except for the colors of these vessels, we could add a yellow band (as in the ENTERPRISE series)
- Use the same list of names of the vessels by changing the prefix U.S.S. in I.S.S.
Yours opinions?

The Mirror universe would be better as a mod or an expansion.

That is a nice idea but I think there is a better way to do it. It could be done later as a mod of this and the original game. Having it as a main menu option would mean a larger download to get the basic game. It would also be extra development time before we get the basic game.

I agree on the mod. Right now I just want a finished game SOOOOO bad! However, think of all the wild starship variations we could create for a mirror universe. In theory, Zeleni would be busy with new emblems too. Bashir

Yes of course, it's just an idea for later.

As an idea, I like it but obviously something that should only be worked on once this game is pretty much complete.

I'll keep this in mind for an "example mod" once the game is complete. I'd like the game to ship with at least two or three sample mods to show off the game's extensibility and help aspiring modders get off to a quick start. An "alternate universe" mod would be a great "simple" or "beginner level" mod, as it would only require modifying the game data.

If a mirrior universe mod is created, all photos of Vulcans should have beards...
