Yeah, I heard about that. The Season 3 update sounds like it's going to be really good, and Skeeter has been testing it on the Tribble server (A special server that anyone with a current membership can access to test future STO releases) and he says it's a good update, but that it takes getting bit of getting used to compared to the current version of the game.
I can't wait to see the future Enterprise. Question is...what happened to the current Big E?

Unfortunately I do believe that the Star trek time line that we all know and love is now toast in favor of the JJ Abrams nightmare of the Alpha Quadrant:)

I don't know. I'll give it a try, I've already designed some ships. I can put the designs here if you want.

Did you see this one? Interesting. There is no atmosphere in space, so off center propulsion isn't a streamline issue. I'd keep Enterprise E though. Bashir

That was one of the ship designs from STO before Cryptic took over. They actually built the model for some of the concept shots. After Cryptic took over, the ship was redesigned into a more conventional 25th Century version of the Constitution.

I'm drawing them with my own hands. I have a couple of designs, and if you want I can scan them and post them.

I only managed to find this one so far. It's an older design based on a Vulcan cruiser from BOTF. I'm not that proud of this one, but it's the only one I found. Also, my scanner is broken so I had to transfer it via Digital camera, and lets just say that the end result wasn't that great. Attachment:

I have a Hewlett Packard scanner and there is no Windows 7 or Vista driver for it. So it might as well be broken. Your Enterprise is indeed very Vulcan looking but hey, they are part of the Federation too. Show me more if you can find them or do a new design based on what you remember you did. CB

I can also see some Klingon and Ferengi in that design. The wings look like they're from a B'rel; and the weapons, as well as the general outline of the ship, are similar to the Ferengi Marauder.

Well, it's not the next Enterprise. i designed this about 5-6 months ago during a Croatian class. More than half of the class were writing exams(to get a better grade) so a few of us were free.
I have one good Ferengi design, I just can't find it.

You must have used the "Balance of Terror" Bird of Prey as an inspiration. Great episode, great ship. Bashir

Wait, can I as a resident of Croatia win? If not then one of my good American friends will have to submit my work (please). I just finished working on my design and will upload it as soon as I can.

According to the rules, the competition is only open to Americans for some god-only-knows-why reason. Actually virtually every official Trek competition ever has only been open to Americans. If you find one of these hallowed Americans to submit it for you, he/she must also be over 21, and must not be a resident of Iowa, Maryland, North Dakota, Tennessee, or Vermont.
