It is Spam seasons again everyone. Enjoy the hollyday with all it's trash posts. I have not been making a list of all the whack a mole times I have banned the spammers in the last two days but most of you must have seen some of it.

I've deleted 20 spam accounts in the last three days, and I just deleted two more. I'm banning them by IP. Are you banning or just deleting them, Kenneth? Ban from now on, otherwise just leave it for me to sort. I've been checking the forums every 30 minutes whilst I can.

If you're a spammer and you're reading this, your abuse of these forums will not be tolerated.

I'm not able to ban the IPs, I can only ban usernames. Perhaps I don't have enough permissions.

Some of our anti-spam controls were apparently turned off. I've re-enabled them. I'll look into your account permissions, V.

Well the enabling of the anti-spam controls certainly seems to have helped. Only one spammer since I changed the controls.

I made some changes to your account V, but i'm not sure which control I need to enable to give you IP ban access. You may need to be an admin for that particular power.
